Oh man I'd almost totally forgotten about that series of sketches of the He-Man universe. That whole entire set was amazing.

My smart home computing mind and my obedient corporate mind mix. I don't save my passwords.

Part of this is my fault. Sorry :(

Look I'll be purely honest. If a "Las Vegas 7" showed up on my front doorstep dressed like Psylocke from the X-Men and asked me for my wallet...I might give it to her on accident. She's likely to get my entire life savings if she has a copy of the old West End Games Star Wars RPG and tells me she's going to use the money to make character sheet photocopies for a game she'll be running for me in a few hours.

I think many, many hot girls know intrinsically that all nerds are so surprised to see "hot girls" liking "nerd things" that they can immediately become weak to their evil ways.

I'm just sayin...knowin' is half the battle. By all means, if a hot chick that has an opinion on D&D 3.5 versus 4.0 pops up on your doorstep wanting full access to your house go for it. All I'm saying is that if she doesn't know who Boba Fett is, she's either a murderer, a thief, or a vampire using your nerd pride against you.

What kind of table are we talking about because I think it just depends on a few factors.

What, like whether or not Pontifex tells him to?

aw damn...

Shit, now that we're on the topic of nerdgasm I guess I can't drop Maria Brink or Cristina Scabbia, because they're far less nerd and far more "metalgasm".

Mine is more Kari from Mythbusters, she's badass. Ironically not too different looking than Felicia Day. Felicia Day don't know how to make homemade napalm, tho.

Not to get too deep on this topic, though, but my woman -hates- Olivia Munn particularly because when G4 was doing a thing on Star Wars, Olivia had NO idea who Boba Fett was. This made me love my woman EVEN MORE than I do now.

Which leads me to bring up something that I've been keyed into for quite some time. Hot chick nerd rape.

Hot chick nerd rape is when a hot chick who has no idea who Kyle Rayner, the Speedforce, planet Korriban, or Johnny Five is suddenly shows up on TV saying that she loves videogames and gets a shitload of money. Hot chick nerd rape is when you fail to recognize that the booth girl at the comic book convention is really an off-season St. Pauli's girl and NOT a geek simply because she's dressed like Emma Frost. Hot chick nerd rape is when a girl that doesn't know the difference between Dr. Who and Hell's Kitchen shows up in a magazine in a thong name-drops "Metroid" at the suggestion of her agent and then suddenly becomes the topic of millions of nerd praise downloads.

My woman accuses Olivia Munn of Hot Chick Nerd Rape. I myself say that she's suspect, but way too hot that I don't care.

Olivia Munn slave Leia is definitely more attractive than slightly concerned note-taking Leia with a clipboard.

RPGs / Dragonstar

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dragonstar

I thought I'd bring this up. Did anyone ever play Dragonstar? I've got most of the books and I fell in love with this 3.0 era campaign setting.

For those of you who don't know, it's basically D&D in space with stuff like Ork pirate ships, Elven liveships. The entire universe has been cut into pie wedges that are controlled by one of 10 Dragon Houses (5 chromatic/5 metallic). A deal was forged that every 1000 years the rule would be handed to the next Dragon House in the cycle. The game's supposed to be set right after the Gold Dragon house hands the throne over to the Red Dragon house. One of the first things that happens after that is the red Dragon Emperor, Mezzenbone, puts a Drow at the head of the elven council and creates a secret police directorate run by the Drow...

I fucking LOVE this setting.

If I had a Dark Sun character it would be a Thri-Kreen thief/chef.

When he isn't cutting fools with knives, he's making phat sushis.

My vote is for Locke to have an awkward relationship with the Gnoll Ranger female. You know, that kind of awkwardness that only comes after one REALLY drunk night that resulted in a quick conversation on waking that probably went something like this:

"Uh...wow...do you think we uh...?"

"...my gnoll loins hurt."

"Wow...um, I guess we did. I'm going to get dressed and go see if Tom's character's made his saving throw yet..."

"...tell no one, Locke. I have a reputation to uphold."

...and then as if by the hand of GOD (or the Raven Queen, punishing Locke) they ALWAYS get seated next to eachother at dinner.

Late Epic Tier? Christ Titties...I've gamed with so many passive aggressive monsters that I've never been in a game that's gone past maybe 10 levels.

Way to go, guys.

That last post from you, Cody, opened up this whole world of imagination for me.

I present you, if I may, a scene where thousands of tears have been cried by Nebraska implant actresses who's dreams have been crushed...by Jerry Van Dyke.

Ditches dug into shallow graves for personal assistants who FOOLISHLY gave Jerry diet snapple instead of regular snapple, having been murdered by "his people".

Jerry Van Dyke on a segway, rolling onto the lot of Steven Spielberg's newest movie, halting production because he thought the set was neat and wanted to pretend he was a space alien and knock the set over.

...all heard to the call of "Don't you know who I am? I'm Jerry Fucking Van Dyke. My BROTHER was in Mary FUCKING Poppins! Who are you? NOBODY. I could have you killed for less, you know that?"
