Role Playing Public Radio Podcast / Whats the worst thing...
« on: July 21, 2011, 02:36:22 PM »
Alright, I have only listened to a few of the Actual Play poscast...but it had me thinking. What is the worst thing that has happened in a game you were playing/ running and what has been the best thing so far? I will start...

Best: I was in an Aftermath game and I was playing what roughly could be a scientist...and our party ended up getting to a point of a TPK because we realized that we wouldn't have enough food to survive the winter. So I took the GM aside and asked would there be enough food for one person. He told me no, but pretty damn close. Then I promted him with a follow up question of, "what is I ate the rest of the party as well?" He stared at me for a few seconds and said yes.....so I ate the rest of my party and survived the winter...I felt like a crazed badass. Especially because that was my first ever RPG game I have ever played.

Worst: A group of us were playing Mage and our Life/Mind mage somehow got herself rapped by a werewolf from the deep umbra....It was avery disturbing night for us and we couldn't believe our GM went there....Then again it was Halloween and he was dressed up as dead Jesus...

It is based off the cartoon.  The benders follow that fire benders are the strongest, with air and water in the middle and earth being a bit weak.  he biggest problem with the earthbenders is they are defenders that are too focused with surviving and not protecting.  I will find the link...and if I can't find it I'll repost it.

No, Some guy Named CJ Lewis wrote it, and I have a PDF copy of it on my computer.
I believe the guy who wrote it has a facebook page, thats really all i know. If you want to take a look at the PDF, i can somehow send it to you

It's actually a fun game. The only downside is that the Earth bender is a little broken, doesn't quite meet standards. but I would definately reccoment it. Who wouldn't want to kick fireballs. If anyone is interested. I have a PDF of the RPG..just ask and I can email it to any of you

By the way, since you mentioned it. I would like to say that Avatar (good CGI movie), is a total rip off of Fern Gully (Family feature film). It was Fern Gully in space

crap, my bad. The Airbender

So I was listening to an old podcast and they mentioned playing a D&D version of Pirates of the Caribbean. This reminded me that just this past semester, a group of mine played a D&D version of Avatar. I wonder if anyone else has heard/ played it and what they thought of it?

Role Playing Public Radio Podcast / Re: Where do you listen to RPPR?

I know I'm late to this game, but I am new on this site and fairly new at gaming. I listen to RPPR at work. It's a nice way to ignore my boss so I don't beat the hell out of him for the stupid things he says...for example, if you don't believe that man came from Adam and Eve... you're a racist. So in this respect... i thank you for letting me stay sane enough to not go to jail!

So, I was wondering if you still wanted to host this game. I would like to try. I have never played Hunter before and I don't have a a ton of gaming experience (i do live with someone who does and could help me).
