Ride em Crawboy!

Just (as in 5 minutes ago) purchased the Quiet Year after listening to the podcast. I have always been a bit of a map nerd and some of the reason I think I run games is to make maps. This is far from an uncommon position in the gaming community so I think they will have a far bit of people interested. I also crave the communal storytelling aspect that a good RPG has which this game also very much seems to foster.

I did not see any info on their site about con schedules but I hope they make it GenCon and host some games.

The dude in the video give me a bit of a creepy vibe but the map looks interesting if you have any connection to Seattle. Could be a fun prop for any number of games.

A few questions -

When Gerard was posting to the blogs that got him into so much trouble can you confirm that it was reclaimer blogs he was posting to? In addition my memory was this happened on Lunar tier in Erato and other cities that were visited but can I get that confirmed? Lastly what was the full name of cranky mcdirectactionpants whom was so fired up to kill him? Really what is a little desertion among friends.

Just finished reading the Xombi trade paperback and the setting in the last half of the book would make an interesting scenario for a one or two shot game. The long story short version is that a number of floating strongholds exists in the modern world but are hidden from them. People on the strong holds are granted effective immortality but a lot of political intrigue between the strongholds and the comic is written in high weirdness world which seems like it could fit well into a Mage or maybe Wild Talents game.
