What is up with that face-hands guy?

It's David Altmejd’s The Eye, The best of the sculptures outside of The Montreal Museum of Fine Arts.  It's quite typical of Altmejd’s work.

more like a mythos monster bronzed by DG

Hulu has posted the show "the Librarians" including the "miskatonic" episode the price of education

here's an interesting thought why not both. a genetic engineering company creates a line of bio organic beings designed to make life perfect. this goes so well that it creates a post scarcity economy. however like any technology in narratives it got taken to far, and when man created "pokemon" with the powers of mythological gods these naicient gods rebelled against us titans and almost destroyed us all until we at the last moment entrapped them. but, not before we were thrown back into a new dark age. when we came out of this dark age the age of "pokemon" has begun

as far as i recall this would best explain why in every game you have one or another "mythological" pokemon to discove, defeat, or catch.

i was reading all of these great ideas and when i came across this one i wondered...
Quote
These are philosophical, existential threats, so far and distant as to be not even actually "present" in the scenario; instead it's all to do with the nihilism their discovery creates in the DG friendly astrophysicist who goes to the Green Box and starts opening crates because why not, right? Sun'll swallow us before they do, nothing matters, etc etc.

...has anyone ever done an adventure based solely around someone raiding a Green Box, or maybe two or three "things" inside of a Green Box disagreed with each other

so am i the only one who see's the rash of clown attacks and sees DG Material. while i know little to nothing about the mythos or DG other than what i hear on the AP's i was wondering what you all though about workshoping this idea into a campaign

23
i acualy have the first two books, and from the first skim it's just a normal adventure with a cthulu spin. but that said having ran 2 full adventure paths i can say that the stories are usualy well thought out and great fun to play. if you are looking to pick up any adventure path they give you the story and the tools to tell the storie, it would be up to you as a gm/player to set the mood/atmospehere for the story to be told right in.

It's slowly dawning on me that Europe has all the best buildings for enclaves.

it's almost like they have been surviving hordes for thousands of years

i had an idea for a campaign that would need to be fleshed out some more and mythosed. the idea came to me while watching orphan black, what if in 1996 when"dolly the sheep was born that was a cover-up by the cowboys, and there were a bunch of clone children at the"farm" they "sanitized." only the agents that were sent couldn't do the job, they couldn't kill the chldren. instead they secreted them to foster systems all over the US. Cut to present day where the players are these children, who have all suspisously been recruited/joined the goverment.  go from that story seed...let's see what grows.

So why do you run an audio podcast on youtube?  I have seen a few people do that, and I can't see the practical reasons behind it.

I don't want to speak for somebody else, but if you're playing over Google Hangouts, you can record to YouTube automatically. It's ridiculously easy. For Technical Difficulties, we take the extra steps of ripping the audio, editing, and putting it on our website and RSS feed. But there's nothing wrong with just using YouTube links like this.

whats ypur you tube channel so that i can support you by subcribing

i'm thinking one of two

the Blue Box: the name is probably two on the nose but a campaign that will last throughout the years of DG's existance culminating in two adventures in EP universe about an "old one" who arrives in a blue box, "fixes" things but creates havoc and death in his wake.

The Unkillable ones: this one is ripped straight from the RPBR archives...but with a twist. it's a story about a group of DG agents coming up against a team of "agents" from an unknown group that have an unknowable agenda. they can be killed with enough firepower but they just come back later sometimes in another body...."whatever you do don't let the monkey touch you!"
