Taking Doctor Who in a new direction:

I sense a great disturbance in the Force, as if millions of Whovians cried out in nerd-rage at the inaccuracy of putting Cybermen as the Dalek's minions (not going to mention Dalek legs, not mentioning Dalek legs, not mentioning...) Dalek! With LEGS! *cough* He's not Dr. Who, he's just The Doctor...

Aaaaand I'm just a dabbler. Aaron and Thad, care to point out a few more?

I had a strange half dream. (I was dozing off at my computer last night so I was like half awake.)

Frank Cooper from Accounting was the demon inside a new super villain named The Bureaucrat. He held everyone in a bank hostage, not for money but to force the Bank manager to approve 0% interest home loans for everyone in the bank, even people who weren't there to get loans.

I don't know why he was doing this but apparently playing Payday 2 and listening to No Soul Left Behind are a weird combination.

"Surala, what was the plan here again?"

"The loans get approved, all these people buy homes they can't afford for cheap, the property values around those homes drop *just* a little, and then the owners sell before the bottom drops out and then we buy up all the ones for sale and flip entire neighborhoods when the zero-interest people default and get evicted."

"It seems a bit... circuitous."

"One way or another we're gonna flip property through villainy. The concept works!"

General Chaos / Re: Favorite NON RPG Tabletop Games

I'm odd in that I love practically ever game I can get my hands on. There's always something to enjoy whether it's a unique mechanic to the game, fantastic artwork, or fun little strategies that ONLY work on that particular game.

That having been said, current favorites include:

Cards Against Humanity
Apples To Apples
Magic: The Gathering
Warlord: Saga Of The Storm (now defunct, but good while it lasted)
Betrayal At house On The Hill
Zombies!
Clue
Settlers Of Catan (and yes, I DO have custom purple pieces)
We Didn't Playtest This At All (and all expansions thereof)
Scrabble
Arkham Horror (let's hear it for co-op board games!)
and pretty much anything that Bill, Ross, or Dan suggest; these gentlemen have yet to steer me wrong on a fun gaming experience.

I've played Twilight Imperium once, and I did have fun; I would have to play it at least one more time to add it to the above.

Oh, where to begin! Bless me, Saint Gary, for I have gamer-sinned. A LOT.

- I enjoy the bad puns *just* for the looks on some of my tablemate's faces.
- I have played AND enjoyed games of Rifts.
- I don't sit still. I pace, I fidget, I destroy any piece of paper by turning it into something else; I can't *not* do these things.
- Far too often, my go-to solution is murder; I need to find new ways to solve problems.

We'll call this the first installment. There's lots more, but not sure how much of the stuff you guys hear in the APs needs mentioning.

My boyfriend is also a kinky bastard so... you know... eventually somebody leather related will find out about you guys.

I find that oddly comforting. Someday somewhere some kinky bastard will turn to another kinky bastard and say "Dude... that's fucked up" on our account.

Regardless of the official plan, I foresee groups forming up and pick-up-games forming of whatever, with whomever you befriend/reacquaint-with/randomly-decide-to-crush-like-a-bug. After all, that's part of the fun of a game convention ;)

Haven't managed to buy into a single game yet.

On the bright side, if i do nothing except hit panel discussions, see celebrities, and wander the con with a camera in hand it'll still be fun; getting to meet up with all of you'll just be the icing ^_^

Motherfucking Lucky Charms. Yeah, I'm seven.

And I'm thirty-four. They don't care how old you are, they're STILL magically delicious.

RPPR: on top of research about the effects of drug use

This is the sort of hard hitting pursuit of the truth I expect from RPPR.

I see what you did there. ;)

My roommate and I fucking lost our collective shit at the description of the demonic hell-scanner. ;D

It's just a common, ordinary scantron machine. Haven't you seen the older ones? It's practically an antique, really; we only break it out when we have a lot of things to scan; oh sure it's a little noisy at first, but once you get used to the sound you'll hear it ALL the TIME, EVERY WAKING MOMENT, screaming, screaming always screaming...

Where was I? Ah yes, just an ordinary scantron that absolutely positively is NOT fueled by the souls of the damned. It's perfectly safe to turn your back on it; if you do and then look back it's NOT going to be closer to you, that's just your mind playing tricks on you.

i'm guessing 5

Not quite.
One shot = all the electricity from all the power plants on earth for the lifetime of the universe X 100.
Or
One shot = converting all the mass of Mount Everest into energy using E=mc2

And because of the size of the thing (160km sphere) if it were to actually use Mt. Everest-sized pellets, there's not exactly a ton of space inside the thing for ammo. So the Hypermatter discussed in the video (owing to density=mass divided by volume) would either have to be extremely dense or somehow stored in a pocket dimension somewhere other than the Death Star.

...but that's another physics problem for another day.

Ross might be closer with his guess of "five" than we gave him credit for; he just anticipated the question of "How many times can that thing fire before the ammo reserves are depleted?"

Perfectly purple, posed in plum. ^_^

Yes, the magenta-minded minstrel is much more marvelous and thank you again. Whether he's posted and displayed here, he's already in my cell phone so I can show him off to everybody I run into. One way or another, he's getting displayed!

Oh Em Gee, I have Review Cultist character-art!

This is truly a high honor, and I am thoroughly humbled good sir.

He looks magnificent. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

We will NEVER get our fill of Coccygeal humor. And honestly, can there ever be enough jokes about the tailbone?
