Why is Caleb so good?

*sound of dice rolling*

And... you are shamed.

It came today! Thanks, Ross! I paired it with Zone One, a recommendation from the latest podcast, for my brother. Where would I be without RPPR?

I ordered on December 1st and it came on the 20th if you'd like to collect that data for future research. It might take some time to find its way to New England from the south.

Then again, I ordered a tea kettle and it went from Vegas to Ontario before getting here, so I'm pretty sure the mail system is fucked.

Hey Ross, i was stricken with the psychic impulse to Buy Your Book. so two weeks ago I went on the website and got the print edition.

The website and email tell me it'll be shipped as soon as possible, but I just wanted to try to get some assurance it'd be here in time for Christmas, because I want to give it to my brother (who's sick and looks like an orphan, actually he's like thirty and sort of annoying listen i got off track here).

Anyway, just hoping for a bit of assurance since the shipping is vague.

Role Playing Public Radio Podcast / RPPR in the strangest of locales

Have you ever seen RPPR in strange places?

Spotted on /tg/...

I just realized I had never finished Wages of Sin, so I listened to it. Really great game. Caleb can come up with some intense situations in just an hour. The revelation of concurrent wives rather than consecutive is a real mind bender - for most of the game I was thinking, "if they only know two wives, how will they determine which is which?"

the epic tier adventures feel strange compared to the others. Perhaps it's because I know the end is coming soon? It's still good, but it feels sad in a way. Perhaps this is why Cody called it bittersweet. Though he finally got to build his steam powered robot.

Also if the drow thief, axegore and various other minor villains don't show up forming a league of evil i'm gonna be pretty upset.

Actually all the stuff with Thunderbird and the frost giant colony and angel slaying was super fresh, maybe what I meant is just the last few episodes

Man the old forums were so endearing though. They were so low-rent, it was really utilitarian. The new forums sold out.

speaking of locrag, does RJ not return for any more games? i always feel bad for him, becuase he's always right but everyone treats him like he's just some crazy barbarian. really, the whole bias of the whole group (ross included) in thinking he's a dumb barbarian was painful. when he brings up the fact that he's never portrayed himself as such, there was little response.

I'm still really surprised there isn't more authentic native slaughter going on in the new world campaign. I mean besides the ogres.

I have a new world related question. Maybe this is already in one of the primers but I figured I would force someone to answer me online instead of doing the research myself.

We know all about the Water and Fire spirits, a theoretical Earth Spirit doesn't seem hard to characterize, but I believe I've heard Ross mention an Air Spirit before, but nothing about him/her.

What kind of traits does the air spirit have? Do the water barons meet it later?

I was wondering because I'm using a handful of elementals in a campaign of my own, and realized I have little idea on how to characterize the air.

\ It's for 4 to 5 players and set in rural California during the Depression.

Ah, so it's a modern game?

A-WHOA *bowtie spin*

Sarkis makes people want to be ruled by the Crown. That's my interpretation, anyways.

Heck, the players, except RJ for good in-character reasons, seemed to WANT to agree with the guy. They nearly did.
