Yep, I'm supposed to be spearheading the new greenbox generator project. I've been kind of busy so it hasn't been as forthcoming as I'd hope. Actually I gotta go check the DG yahoo group again to check up on whatever notes people have provided since I asked.

Update: the code is ugly, so I might just rewrite a new greenbox generator from scratch because it'd honestly be faster than getting the current stuff on a different server (a lot of the code has hard-coded values based on how nemesis-system.com was configured to use it). I also really want to get all the original data, because to me that's the goldmine, so I'm still in contact with syrinx about getting a mysqldump. If I can't get all the old data, it will be up to us to re-populate it with weird shit.

I'll make a new thread about at some point it so I don't keep derailing. PM me if you want to know more.

aw snap bitches, syrinx just got back to me via pm and is sending me a zip with all the php files, because he's been having trouble getting it to work. gonna check it out and make it happen!

I don't care who wins the race really. As a programmer type, I have an interest in seeing the (probably simple) codebase if nothing else.

I definitely refrain from controlling other characters' actions or trying to influence them too much. But sometimes I come up with a really good idea and just can't stop myself from blurting it out. I won't coerce them to do the thing I suggest, but I make them aware of it. Metagame, PC hive mind, etc.

Man, Caleb. I'm on the second listen of this thing (was slightly distracted the last time), and I'm at the part where you're describing the biology of the threat to Ross as he examines it. I say god damn. You came up with a really detailed explanation of how it does its thing. Seriously, how many hours of research did you put into this? I'm impressed. I... I think I would take a voluntary sanity hit just from having heard it, even if my character didn't. Hell, I think I just took a sanity hit in real life. Good work.

Edit: Also, where'd you come up with the contents of the various green boxes?
