Take Me Through The Darkness: A Tale of Dark Conspiracy

Bourne, Oregon was a sleepy little town tucked away in Cracker Canyon along the Idaho border. The only civilization for miles around, Bourne functioned as a supply post of sorts, serving the needs of the remaining timber operations throughout the majestic Blue Mountains.

Baker County was once a hub at the center of a number of highly-profitable logging sites, but the due to increased competition from abroad, many of the companies went bankrupt or moved operations overseas. Several small towns in the area were gradually abandoned, leaving behind emptied buildings and a shattered economy, until only Bourne remained.

But much like other small towns all over America, life in Bourne went on. The town was home to the 1987-1988 women's hockey state champions the Lady Falcons, and every October residents celebrated the annual Redwood Festival.

Then on the night of September 11th, 1991, a bright light appeared over the skies above Bourne. Residents filed out of their houses with an eerie sense of calm, observing the play of lights above with muted awe.

The next day, Bourne became a ghost town. Over two hundred people disappeared without a trace.

Today, twenty years later, the first survivors have come forward.

This is their story. It is the story of what transpired on that fateful night. It is the story of those who survived the Bourne Incident. But it is also a story of Our Dark America, and the continuing drama of those who would bring light to a land engulfed in shadow.
