I am having the same problems. For it seems that we have been set in the Default group until someone else higher then us to promote us.

Ok Update, I can teleport, give items to people ,spawn mobs and all the other commands ,but can't interact with the environment, nor hold items.

Man my tree village looks average compared to some of that stuff to the east. I need to get back to work. Permissions please.

Hi Ross,
I tried to promote other players and I am getting the error message
'you don't have permission to promote on this ladder"

so please advise why I can't do this?
I followed your directions.

Same thing for me, I think Ross needs to adjust the moderators ability's.

Thanks to whoever did all that repair work on the tree village! And pasted all of that artwork in my house.

I'm using Permissions Ex http://forums.bukkit.org/threads/admn-dev-permissionsex-pex-v1-16-tomorrow-is-today-1337.18140/

I used this tutorial to set up permissions https://github.com/t3hk0d3/PermissionsEx/wiki/Basic-Permissions-Setup

If someone can figure out what I need to do to give moderators the ability to promote people let me know and I'll be happy to do it. I'll try to figure it out on my own as well but I'm not an expert.

That would be me. I have rebuilt it twice now due to griefers

I'm thinking moderators need this permissions.user.promote.<ladder> added to there group. in order to promote, and permissions.user.demote.<ladder> to demote, its at the bottom of the linked page.

I'm new to the forums, but I'll have you know:
Challenge accepted.  8)
I can't think of anything worth putting here, so I decided not to have anything of consequence.

... Well I tried, but when I joined the server it looked as if I was falling through space or something. Just a black screen with small white squares flying about.

@ Jerry It is a leap of faith. A litmus to prove yourself worthy to St. Payton.
(the world is loading, so thats why everything is kind of hard to distinguish, and you are falling through water,  just keep pressing the space bar)

On a different note,
Is anyone using a texture pack? I'm using Steelfeathers Enchanted pack

I wish I was Tom.

Granted, you are now Tom.
