I'm going to plug my wife's kickstarter (Thanks again Ross for giving me the okay to do so). The kickstarter will be starting up on Feb 3rd. It's a Wizard of Oz tarot deck, called Shadows of Oz. She has many different artist on the project and to help create buzz she's been releasing names of the artists, one per day. The artists names she's released so far are GAZ GRETSKY, RAY SNYDER, KORI THOMPSON, JIMMIE ROBINSON, EMONIC, GILES CRAWFORD, PAUL GULACY, OLYMPIA MAXENCHS, ERIC SHANOWER, DARICK ROBERTSON, STEVE LEIALOHA, TRINA ROBBINS, and BEN TEMPLESMITH. So this project is not only for tarot fans but for oz fans and comic book fans. If you're interested, please check out the facebook page https://www.facebook.com/IllogicalAssociates

I have been attending this festival off and on for over ten years and pretty much always enjoyed myself. Generally a few good movies, a few decent movies, and a lot of bad movies some of which are so bad they crossed over into good again. I pimped their kickstarter last year as well and they were good about delivering their goodies on time and as advertised.

I would recommend if you are in the NW making the drive on over for the event. Kenneth Hite is a guest of honer this year and you will likely get a chance to see or meet Mr Glancy in the imposing flesh as he is running a COC game for high level kickstarter backers. The docket of events also looks pretty good. Live radio play from the HP Lovecraft Historic Society is especially appealing.

Nice! I won't be able to make it to the festival, but I can get something from it as a low-level supporter.

The end in upon us.  They'll probably also re-release Crystal Pepsi sometime this summer.

Interestingly enough, Slender Man is fiercely guarded by the guy who created the first photoshop images of it - Victor Surge, I think. He claims copyright over Slender Man and I know there has at least been one previous KS backed film that can no longer be distributed because of the copyright issue.

This KS also has poor copy editing and the guy looks like he's straight out of high school.

This is a fantastic Kickstarter with a lot of boardgame companies already on board.  As someone that works with blind students, having the option to use games for educational purposes would be a great aid.  Please consider pledging any dollar amount to help make board games more accessible.
