You've been sucked out of the airlock into the black. Roll all the dice on the table for damage.

Three projects to take a look at!

Drift Stage. A N64/PS1-era styled arcade racer in the vein of Outrun, Ridge Racer, and Daytona USA.
https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1910344764/drift-stage

Starr Mazer. A combination of classic Lucasarts style point-and-click adventure and side-scrolling space shoot-'em-up action!
https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/imagosfilms/starr-mazer

STRAFEŽ. A high action, high blood and guts, FPS straight out of 1996.

World of Darkness new historical expansion: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/200664283/world-of-darkness-dark-eras-prestige-edition

It includes a different era for each of the game lines running from the fall of Alexandria for Mages to the rise of thr Tutors for Vampires, the Cold War for Demons, and the dirty, filty seventies of New York for Werewolves.

Great resource for anybody into World of Darkness or specific historical eras. Check it out, stretch goals will expand eras covered.

Windwalkers looks like it could be pretty cool: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/forgeanimation/windwalkers-the-game

The world sounds interesting, but they're asking for a lot of money without showing much of the game, nor much in the way of how they want it to play, which is a bit frustrating.

Support webcomics and see things explode*!

*"explode" is shorthand for destroyed in a variety of interesting ways.  Things may not actually explode.

John Wick is kickstarting 3 Call of Cthulhu adventures called Curse of the Yellow Sign

Looks like I need to do some overtime to pay for crowdfunging this month.

Fear the Con 8 is being funded via Kickstarter this year: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1336450195/fear-the-con-8

If you're unfamiliar, it's a tabletop gaming con in St. Louis, MO run by the Fear the Boot Podcast guys.

I had a fantastic time there last year, got to meet Ross and Caleb and run Call of Cthulhu for them (good ol' Lefty and the Cyclops), and also play tons of games that I'd never have had the chance to try at home.

This year admission will be free if it gets funded. I'm planning to go and run some games, and hopefully also bring my wife and some other friends along, too.

If it doesn't get funded, it won't happen at all.

So 30 years of indie film reviews and articles will be going away if this isn't funded...

Just realised that Vincent Baker is on patreon.  He's giving access to his game design process. He just announced that work is starting on Apocalypse world 2nd edition.

For those not in the know, he's an a darling of the Indie gaming world and the author of Apocalypse world, Dogs in the Vineyard and  Kill Puppies for Satan among others.
