Introducing Friends to RPPR
« on: April 12, 2015, 02:07:36 PM »
So, I have a friend of mine from across the pond that I'd like to introduce to RPPR, or at least the AP site. Does anyone here have any ideas as to what AP I should show them first? I was thinking the Better Angels campaign, but if anyone else has any ideas, I'd love to hear them. He isn't much of a fan of tabletop gaming, if one at all. I'm just looking to try and share something I enjoy.

Probably one of the one shots - Channel Six News or Night Clerk or Preemptive Revenge or Lady Gaga 2.0.

Sucrose Park was my introduction to RPPR, so that's my recommendation. Otherwise, anything off the best-of list works!

If they like creepypasta: "Candlecove" WoD game or "Slenderman" fear itself game. My first listens and recommendations.

I'm a fan of one of the Call of Cthullu or Dirty World games as an introduction

I'd got with Call of Cthulhu as well.

I listened to the GenCon 2013 game "Iron Devil", that was the first time I listened to any of their podcast on my own. Without my brother telling me what to listen too.

I listened to a few of RPPR's episodes without getting super into it, but Bryson Springs hooked me. It's just a genius scenario, and professor Badass made it all the better.

Depends on what you think they're most in to.

If they're a horror fan: I'd go with Bryson Springs. A World War 2 buff: Dangers of Fraternization (Thad's greatest performance). A Sci-fi fan: Think Before Asking. A fan of hilarious off-the-wall shenanigans: GaGa 2.0 or News Channel Six.

I for horror I'd start with Candlecove or the Lover in the Ice.  Sci-fi any EP.
