The players hired a NPC group of mercs called the bronze hammers. They were led by Watcher, a NPC warforged fighter until Mike took the character over. I haven't really described the PCs soldiers any more than that.

The Iron Hearts are a rival band of adventurers. They are led by Sir Redgar a noble fighter. Bite, Stab and Kill are 3 barbarian brothers - bite is a ranger, stab is a rogue and kill is a barbarian. They also have a female elven wizard I think. Forgot her name. They are the 'generic' adventurers who go on dungeon crawls, save princesses and so on. They don't care about political power or fucking the world up or making deals with liches.

They also have an airship.

If they did, they fixed it quickly. I make it a point to give the Iron Hearts cool stuff to make the players jealous.

I just remember that as an aside in one of the APs and thought it was funny because my PCs did something similar around the same time. I think you used it to explain why Rip or Gut or one of those guys was in town.

Ah, okay. Then yeah, I'd be happy to do a Bronze Hammers painting starring Watcher and his not-so-merry soldiers.

I have a Cortez painting for today.

Dunno how I feel about this one. Might try a redo from a different angle and with different lighting.
