It's probably too late for Caleb to use this to screw with you guys since you've left Venus but I'd like to point out that since you disabled the final slitheroid (the one that fell down the elevator shaft, Aaron hit him with a concussion seeker) rather than totally destroying it (I don't think anybody knifed the guy after he stopped moving), it's cyberbrain was still in operation. Even if you removed it's stack if you didn't wreck the sleeve completely to shut down the cyberbrain than the ego was just chilling immobile.
