Ah yes. I should bump that up to 75 ship points because I started you with a very flow Profit Factor.

The book stipulates archeo and xenotech components are only available to ships with specific complications. Shall I follow these while constructing my ship?

Please do, though you are free to select complications for your ship to allow you to add those parts if you want to.

Roll call round 2:

Are we on for this week and is Thursday or Friday better?  I think either could work for me, though I can't play until 8PM EST on Thursday.

Should I do anything else to help the process along?

Friday, I believe, will work best.

If you would like to uograde your character yourself, you may. Everyone gets 2,000 XP (in addition to the 500 XP that you get at character start) so you should be into Rank 2.

I can take a crack at it. The pregen doesn't seem to follow the guidelines in the book (e.g. has two weapon wielding for melee and ranged + ambidextrous at rank 1). Should I just buy 2000xp worth of upgrades to add on? I can't tell if it included increases to characteristics at Rank 1.  If it's easy for you, you can upgrade him.  I can probably do it with a few questions along the way.

Well there is that slight problem. You can upgrade him with 2000 XP, create a new character from scratch, or I'll make the upgrades.

Friday sounds good.

I'm not in a position right now to make purchases, so I don't have access to the rulebook.  Would it be okay if you could make the upgrades for me, Tad?  (promise I'm not just trying to be "that guy" :))

Your fine, I'll update your character as best I can based on how you played last time.

I guess I'll make a character from scratch although I think that is going to screw me as far as power level.  I'm not sure why they made the pregens completely not legal.  Either that or I can't figure out how they gamed the system to that extreme.  If it comes out horribly, I'll just do the 2000XP on top of what I had from before.  I am assuming I have the same items at least.  That will help some.

Don't worry, you'll probably die anyhow. This is Call of Cthulhu in space, after all and your already 10% insane.

I'll be testing my online functions tonight and thursday to try and refine any technical elements on my end, so if anybody is around I might call you to use you as a test subject.

I guess I shouldn't put too much effort into it then.

I thought I was only 1% insane.  Was it really 10 points of insanity for seeing that whole solar system thing?

It was, in fact, 1d10 Insanity Points with a failed Willpower Test and I rolled a 10.

You shouldn't really worry. It doesn't cause you major in game problems until you accruse thirty or forty insanity and have a few mental conditions bouncing around.

Wow I thought you rolled a one. I wonder how many insanity points I've accumulated. I'm building my dude right now. Not sure how it will turn out. I'm hoping it is at least a little less deadly than CoC.

Would I be able to ready both my sword and pistol at a free action in one turn if I have Quick Draw?
