So I mentioned this in the comments on My Immortal, but I wanted to check if there would be any way one could listen the raw recording for it. I think it would be fun/amusing to hear Cody in his own voice (though I understand if there is some reason you don't want to).
Oh and might you record any fanfics in more of a "radio play" style (i.e. with multiple voice actors and some simple sound effects)?
i'll upload a raw version soon
but again, when you add multiple voice actors, you increase the time needed to edit it - and I've found that I will tackle simple stuff far more readily and post it more often than longer stuff - that's why we've done so many episodes and actual plays and so few Ab3 stories.
btw I do have some sound effects in the stories
Yeah, I know that in many ways the difficulty increases almost exponentially, I was just curious about your plans since it seems to be a bit of a new thing (I did notice the sound effects, great job on keeping them simple and enhancing to the story).
unlike some other podcasts, I am always eager to try out new things and experiment with the form. I think I'm focusing on my work habits and trying to maximize my output without trying to alter my habits. It's all fine and good to set out with a goal like "I will put out a new episode every week. With multiple actors. And sound effects. And music. and video. with cgi animation. and gun fights. and strippers. and blackjack." but when that ambitious goal comes into contact with reality, one of a few things will happen:
1. You keep to your goal, but because you're not comfortable with this level of output, you get burned out and start hating it. Eventually you burn out altogether.
2. You get intimidated by your goal and never finish it.
3. You do some work and promise to finish it but it's so easy to get distracted by other things
Soo, I now want to focus on creating content that syncs up with my work habits.
