Must Die is fucking insane. I've never listened to a more actiony CoC scenario.
I like the campaign idea. Would it be set in a type of Armageddon scenario where Larsen's army is starting the apocalypse or something else?

More or less. I haven't had a chance to sit down and talk to Ross and Tom about it.

EDIT: Also, as far as action games go that we've run, Omar Shanti Must Die! was kind of tame. Unfortunately, the most hardcore action game we ran was not recorded, but I still have the premise that Ross emailed to everyone:

Quote
Smoking Aeons: Scion in Shooting Spree in Vegas Baby

The game: Scion, the new rpg from White Wolf http://www.white-wolf.com/scion/

The premise: Each player is a scion with a score to settle against one titanspawn: Eddie the sociopathic dwarf (Norse mythology type dwarf) Eddie's holed up in the biggest casino in Vegas with a gang of human and titanspawn scum guarding him. He's about to make a deal with another titanspawn that will grant him protection against all of you for the rest of time. Tonight is your last night to get even. You must kill him first for your reason.

Who you are: You are the child of a god with powers to match. 6 pantheons to choose from, from Greek to Aztec mythology.

As the game name implies, it was based on the movie Smokin' Aces. All the PCs were assassins going after Eddie. No one worked together. Let me repeat that. No one...worked...together. Here are some highlights.

1) Karee's character was based more or less on Bast and she had a "big ass cat," some kind of fucking giant tiger/lion/saber tooth man eating thing. At the beginning of the game, the cat scaled (yes, scaled) the casino tower and singlehandedly kept Eddie the Sociopathic Dwarf from completing his spell ritual until the rest of us got there.

2) Tom's character met
Charlie the talking unicorn
in the service elevator on the way up. Charlie the talking unicorn ended up being a pegacorn. Ask Ross about pegacorns...

3) My character was a scion of Loki. He rode a motor cycle. He wore a leather jacket. He dual wielded D.Eagles.

I'm sure there are other details that Ross, Tom, Karee, and Jason can fill in, but it was still the most ridiculous action game we've played.

It wraps its tail around my neck and threatens to kill me if they don't let it go.  It must be hurt pretty badly to stoop to bargaining for its life.   The tail tightens and I am having trouble breathing.  They will end this battle and save me,  won't they?  It is offering peace after all.  I am only in this mess because I was trying to save one of them ...

Crap, stupid greedy ba...

Brilliant!  God, how I wish I had been there for this session...then again if I had I'm sure things might've turned out a little differently, and we wouldn't have this selfish outcome.  Ah, poor LT, I knew him well.
