Did it stroke your ego to see your work 4th? :P  (Apparently don't do well with the ladies though...)

I didn't get much chance to look through the whole thing, but did enjoy the bit about podcasts appealing to the more highly educated (good to know I'm in good company).  Definitely going to give this a closer look tomorrow when I'm not so tired...

Hooray for RPPR being in the top 20th!

As to the rest of it, there seems to be just a lot of inconclusive data here. The sample sizes arguably need to be larger, the COMPARISONS need to be better - the first quote on the story-games forum page addresses this best, I think.

Also, I'm not sure what point the data comparing this year with last year really serves. At such a short time-span, (especially when, as it seems, the survey pool is the same both years) the comparison just becomes moot when attempting to draw a conclusion.

The "Preferred Gaming System" question also seems rather loose - more of a subjective analysis. The survey document's author points this out, even, saying "It did not ask for an “all-time” favorite or what game you are actually playing most frequently."
I wish that this question HAD addressed the "Which game are you actually playing most frequently", because that would have provided more conclusive results. The rest of the survey is directed towards actual spending on games by gamers, and that would have fit in much better.

The sample size for women was quite small.
