RPPR shoutout, is this kosher?
« on: August 30, 2010, 03:07:37 PM »
Hope so, because I did it anyways.

Some friends of mine over at the team fortress 2 fort website/community clan do a podcast called "Across the Nerdaverse" discussing movies, games, all that good noise and I mentioned RPPR in the "what's entertaining you" segment. I hope that and this thread are ok and that I did you guys justice. Check it out at http://nerdaverse.com/ episode 25, and stick around for a nerdfight: who is the best disney villain?

18:50 is when I mention RPPR fyi, why I mentioned children-friendly and rppr anywhere close to each other is beyond me.

Anyways the nerdfight is a good listen I think, limited to the animated films and no pixar but some good picks.

Who is the villain of the Apple Dumpling Gang? Because whoever it is, they are the best villain.
I'm from Alaska. About Fifty miles south of Ankorage there's a little fishing town, maybe you've heard of it, it's called fuck your momma.

Pretty sure that little blonde kid was the villain of that movie, sending his sibling and caretaker to strange, dangerous places only he could actually leave from. Good thing nobody let him out of arms reach of he'd've been on the bed and off to candyland.

Scar's my favorite villain. Won't say he's the best.

The game board of "Jumanji". Best inanimate-yet-maleficent plot device EVER.
My avatar is Jade Harley from Homestuck. You really should be reading it.

From Thad: How about the rampant racism from "Song of the South"

Well... it was racist? Not really a Disney villain if it doesn't get beaten by the hero but only killed through their own devices (or actions of other villains).

If the racism collectivally manifested as a gnostic demon upon the movie screen only to be sack tapped by a manifestation of reason and then shived by solidified greed, that'd be an awesome villain.

And if I'm going to be activally attacking Song of the South then we might as well manifest American perceptions from the entire year of 1946 and kick it's ass good.

in all seriousness Judge Claude Frollo, and i have many reasons to back this up which i doubt any cares about.

Though i wonder....does Judge Doom count as he was mostly live action?

some friends of mine often joked about which disney animated female leads you would do most, though Jessica Rabbit wasn;t allowed, cause she's pretty much a given.

Freedom is not a license for chaos.

In that case, vote on the forums (link on the podcast page), I need some backers for my horsie.
