Got Bastion from the Steam Sale, so that should be good...

Why do there have to be so many distracting games I want to play during finals?

First Minecraft, then Dead Space 2, then the Humble Indie Bundle (namely Dungeons of Dredmor), then today I buy Bastion, and upon exiting the game to check my email, I get the beta invite for Diablo III...

I really hope I don't fail my last final...

Goddamn, D3 is still in beta. It was supposed to have been released three years ago.

Exactly my point, this shouldn't be hard. Luckily they do the look of things and the combat extremely well (so far).

It's the dialog that comes across as strange for those who've "studied" Space Marines. Their references to the Codex, the clunky exchanges between the squad members, and a general lack of zeal and faith which is a large part of what one expects for an Astartes, to say nothing of Ultramarines.

It's a game about generic large men possibly with stubble going around and tromping on the same three enemy types for eight hours in a very brown environment, what more do you want?

EDIT: 5 enemy types, I forget the red demon thingies and the generic badguys in power armor.

Yeah, you expect Titus to tell his Lieuteneant "Fuck the Codex. This is WAR!" or something. Need some Grey Knight Terminators to sort him out.

Kinda looks like a free version of Terraria. I'll give it a go.

And so the great Steam Holiday sale begins...

The gift pile promotion seems interesting, got a copy of Portal 2 for checking my inventory.  Can't imagine winning the grand prize for the drawing (every game on Steam), how much memory would that take to install it all at once?

I'm still hanging out with my MvC3 but I intend to get Ultimate soon.

Ultimate is pretty amazing. Aside from Ghost Rider being a screen controlling easy mode whore, all of the new characters are sweet, and the rebalances are nice.

except for what they did to She-Hulk. : ( : ( :(
