Played Armored Core V for about eight minutes. It offended my brain. I couldn't get to the actual game play (I don't think I finished the game's tutorial level even) before I had to turn off the game to avoid lasting damage.

M.U.L.E. is still the ne plus ultra

I still like relaxing to a nice session of Quake

The original Castle Wolfenstein will never be equaled in my mind -- such tension and sheer jumping out of the chair when being spotted and hunted by the SS

the Temple of Apshai series will always be among my favourite 'dungeon crawl' PC games

but the best game, still not being equalled by anything is

life

Finally, someone that loves the old games as much as I do. I prefer the original Doom to Castle Wolfenstein as my favorite Id product though. I realized that you were talking about the Apple II game after I posted this, which I have also played and enjoyed.

My father and I had a competition to see who could beat the Apple IIe version of Autoduel the fastest. A contest he only won by hacking the game code. My favorite text-based RPG is still Eamon.

I really cut my teeth on Dos and early Windows games like Doom, Master of Orion, Darklands, and Covert Action though.

I see your father is a follower of the James Kirk style of competition.

I am now playing Deadly Premonition. A game so amazing, I have no choice but to upload videos of me playing this game to YouTube.

It's just

it's so perfectly awkward that it becomes amazingly charming.

Congratulations, you and I are the only two that got that reference.

I think you'll find trekkies in hidden pockets all over the interwebs.

Reality was meant to be hacked

and there is a long line of reality hackers

which includes but are not limited to Jesus (hacked Romans and Judaism), Judaism (a hacker's manual, in fact) Siddartha (hacked his own mind & Hinduism), the Situationists, the OWS movement...

(I had to hack Autoduel because my poor lil mind couldn't keep up with the rules interactions)

I watched the entirety of supergreatfriend's LP, and it looked absolutely amazing. Let us know when you upload the videos to Youtube!

I "hacked" my father off when I beat the game even after he set my armor rating to zero on my saved file and tweaked the damage for enemy cars.

Anyone here playing or going to play Guild Wars 2?

I just bought it but haven't been able to play it though, waiting for the parts for a new comp I'm going to build this week.
I can't think of anything worth putting here, so I decided not to have anything of consequence.
