Watching roommates play FTL, makes me really want to buy it.  But I know there will be a Steam Sale, or it will be in the Humble Indie Bundle at some point, since I don't have time for a lot of games, I'm trying to hold back...

It's 10 bucks dude and better than most new AAA titles.

The same applies to Hotline Miami.

Hotline Miami, is well worth the deal if that's the type of game your looking for, I recomend watching total biscuits, wtf is hotline Miami, before buying it. Looks good for the nice cheap price, looks fun, but just isn't what I'm looking for in a game.

As for ftl better then most AAA titles I agree, look at xcom, its already droped in price less then a month out. clearly I'm not the only one who thinks its priced out of its range. And you get the pre order skins as a dlc now for 4 bucks. Still saving 6 bucks.

I am tearing it up in Sleeping Dogs. It's pretty awesome.

Since I got it free, playing Little Big Planet on Vita, its kinda bullshit.

Pretty crap platforming, you have very little precision in the controls, and can barely get off the ground when jumping, yet the level designers seem to think its a much tighter platformer than it actually is.

And FFS the back touchpad is all kinds of crap (still, much better implementation in this game than others like Little Deviants), and tilting controls are worse, yet the game thinks they're awesome.

Dark Souls: Prepare to Die Edition.  ;D
My computer really isn't specced to handle it or I need to download one of the fan patches, because it chugs like a choo-choo, but the nice side is I've gotten good at parrying, what with the extra long animation frames. Absolutely digging the game though, been watching a blind LP on Something Awful and it's still fun to try and muscle through it myself with my giant Ultra Greatsword.

It's locked to 30 frames on the PC (just like the console version) but there's patches to unlock that.

I do not like Dark Souls or its design philosophies. I hope you enjoy the game more than I did.

Having played on my friend's PS3 and my laptop both, I can tell you that whatever lag is coming through is absolutely NOT the frame lock.
I fucking love Dark Souls and the entire design philosophy of it being a balls-hard game with a relatively complex combat system and a steep learning curve appeals to me quite a bit. The same thing in a tabletop game would probably cause me to hate it. Different strokes, I suppose.

Played the first part of Darksiders 2. It's pretty metal. Waiting to get my own.

Finished Sleeping Dogs. It was a pretty good ride. Be good for a suspense focused low power Wild Talents game.

What's up with the release of that game?  Is the game that we've been able to play a beta or something?

I'm just confused because I haven't really been able to tell...

I've got Dark Souls on the PC too, but haven't played too much of it. Hit me up on Steam sometime and we could get some jolly co-operation going.

Finished Darksiders. No, no, the first one.

I'm starting Space Marine. Shouldn't take long, right?
I didn't come here to win. I came to make friends.
