While I can't play this at the moment, I'm excited about the 20th anniversary release of Gabriel Knight. I think it is due out sometime this year. The last time I played that was in the mid 90s.

I personally don't eve know what Gabriel Knight is, so I'm sorry to call out a game you love, and maybe it is in an HD remake, I'm just upset that Square is lazy and other company's too. lol.

I'm not butt hurt about your observation.  I'd love to see a updated version of FF7.

As for Gabriel Knight, it is an HD remake of a classic point and click adventure.

I am playing the latest Tomb Raider game.  I really like it, although thematically it is a little weird (Lara kinda goes from crying about killing to Super charged murder machine just a wee bit quickly..)

Speaking of gleeful murder machines I've been playing through Farcry 3 again. I really need to write a CoC scenario on Rook Island.

Awesome idea. I thought Spec Ops would make a good Delta Green game.

Funny enough, I've actually been scrounging together a CoC/DG game loosely based on Far Cry 3 for a while now. I actually started a thread way back asking for advice which you can find over here if it helps with any inspiration. I actually plan on running my version fairly soon, so I'll let you know how it goes.

My group also did a Spec Ops Delta Green game, that was pretty good. Its pretty much the exact same plot, but with some eldritch horror layered on top. We actually recorded that one so feel free to give it a listen over here or on iTunes under A Fistful of Misanthropes and the title is (of course) The Line. Hope it helps.

Sounds cool, I'll have to give it a listen.

You've been sucked out of the airlock into the black. Roll all the dice on the table for damage.

Anyone else preordering South Park and the Stick of Truth?

Honestly I haven't watched South Park regularly in years(possibly ever) but I've seen a lot of episodes and I like the mechanics I've heard about so far.
42.7% of all statistics are made up on the spot.
If you can't fix it with duck tape you haven't used enough.
I intend to live forever -- so far, so good.

I'm dropping some pretty heavy hints to my wife that I'd like it for my birthday.  The game release on March 4th, then I turn 34 on the 5th.  If not, I'm a grown ass man, I'll pick it up on the way home.

SOOO good.  I already had Monaco and Antichamber (the two I would be most interested in), but the soundtracks and other good stuff made it worth it....

Like Hotline Miami? Like John Woo films? Then you gotta keep an eye out for this game.

That last one kind of brought to mind the Gaga 2.0 game for me.

Steam is currently preloading Thief so I'll be doing that tomorrow. I really hope it can live up to the previous games, but I really doubt it will (one thing those captured really really well and what I loved most about them is the atmosphere and interesting world, and I really hated both in Dishonored and this is in the same kind of stupid plague city with a lot of the mystical elements of the world stripped...and why bother even making it if you don't get the real voice of Garret?)

If you have so much hate for the game before even playing it why buy it? Its a reboot of an old game so its gonna be different,  from what I've seen it looks fun, and the options you can turn off are crazy. I never played any thief, but watching Totalbiscuites WTF is, looked fun.
