BOOS DUDS I CAN'T FIGURE THE CIPHER OUT HINT

it's a type of Vigenere cipher
It actually said Look Dude I Can't Figure THe Cipher Out

Hint?

Used a pretty simple shift cipher.

Thanks for the hint.

the cipher is a message related to the current dark sun campaign :D

I think part of the poly-alphabetic key is 'sword'. That's as far as I got today. :(

(Can't wait to play Dark Sun over at Nerdbound someday.)

I was cranky earlier and for that I'm sorry. I'm behind on papers and grades and it's getting to me.

Good game tonight I still can't believe
that one thing happened.
I'm from Alaska. About Fifty miles south of Ankorage there's a little fishing town, maybe you've heard of it, it's called fuck your momma.

I remember having to catch up on grades every week. Now, I grade once a year.

ciphers have no place in dark sun. If you are not strong enough to protect what is yours and you have to revert to the use of puzzles, then you are weak.

To be fair, these were originally in the New World thread.  But yeah, Dark Sun is too hardcore for cryptography.

I imagine it looks like Exor from Super Mario RPG with a pair of Kamina shade on (or maybe Harry Ord bug glasses.)

Wouldn't an artifact defile the crap out of Athas just by existing? Or are artifacts too cool for that?

Fixed that for you. (Seriously, I'm still debating on what to do with the sword's will vs my own).

I think the sword is still debating on what to do with you, but when it decides, it'll be Good Night Irene. My advice is to "let" the halfling steal it from you and smile when he does.

Wait, that already happened. Damn.

I'd be more worried about not pissing the sword off.
