Sabaton is pretty great. Gotta love World War II metal, and if Primo Victoria doesn't get you into the mood for killing nazis then I don't know what will.

In other news, Jimmy Urine of MSI fame makes hilarious videos/songs.

Terasbetoni, which translates to "steel concrete" in Finnish, is known for their tongue-in-cheek style of metal and I'll be damned if this isn't one of the most manly music videos I've ever borne witness to. Orjatar means "slave woman", and the entire song is basically SLAVE WOMAN! HEAR MY DEMANDS, KNOW YOUR PLACE, AND YOU WILL EXPERIENCE A DIVINE PLEASURE! It also talks about going into a forest with an axe and slaying enemies.

Good electronica. You can ignore the video on this one, it's just good background music.

I've started using smart playlists in iTunes - they are rules that govern what kind of music is played instead of just picking a bunch of music. It self updates too.

So I have a mashups and fun smart playlists: house music, Girl Talk, Diablo Swing Orchestra, deadmau5 and skrillex among others.

A Triphop playlist: DJ Shadow, DJ Krush, Little People, BLockhead etc

A Chillax playlist: Bonobo, quantic, Nujabes (samurai champloo soundtrack etc) Matisyahu and Digitonal etc

it's working pretty well so far

Nice!

I generally like iTunes, although, to be honest, I use Amazon to purchase all of my music. I don't know, I've just never really appreciated iTunes approach to digital sales.

I like to build my own playlists. Its the easiest way, IMHO, to build up a mood. My headphones are my sanctuary and I like to control what goes into my ears. Basically, I take a DJ's approach to building my playlists...

Bonobo

I just started getting more into electronica these past few months and I have to say that Bonobo has really impressed me. Highly recommended. Deadmau5 is solid too. As is: The Glitch Mob, Ratatat, Ronald Jenkees, David Guetta, Trentemoller.

I've been listening to this album a lot: http://swamisound.bandcamp.com/album/lo-fi-muey-thai

Sorry I couldn't find a youtube vid, but just listen to the first track. The whole album is free, btw.

It's smart, underground hip-hop.  I am quite a fan of Navi's flow.

E.S Posthumus is great stuff. I gave a shout out to their album Makara a while ago on the podcast.

You just got Money'd.
Thanos: "I am going to sacrifice the Earth to gain the love of Death"
Me: (slowly raise eyebrow) "Destroy the Earth? That would be...illogical"
Vortex: "Yes...that...would be...highly...illogical."
Thanos: "Your Star Trek references bore me."
