Players create an adventurer, raise an army of soldiers and rampage across the country side, battling whatever foes stand in your way. Virtually no plot, minimal RPG character development, but great action and it&#8217;s tremendously fun to run down dozens of peasants with a heavily armed knight on horseback.<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.ayzewi.com\/index.php\">Wrongside:<\/a><\/strong> A comic of politics, intrigue, genocide, and fashion right out of the Final Fantasy school of design. Also, furries.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.bay12games.com\/dwarves\/\"><strong>Dwarf Fortress:<\/strong><\/a> An ASCII graphic strategy\/simulation game that puts you in control of seven dwarves and a wagon in a randomly generated world. The object being of course, to build a fortress. Of course, dwarves are strange little creatures and subject to strange whims and bad luck. That and Dwarf Fortress is a staggeringly complex game that keeps track of every dwarf&#8217;s emotional state, fluid mechanics and erosion, among other things. It is in fact, INSANE. Play it&#8230;if you dare.<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/fromearth.net\/LetsPlay\/Boatmurdered\/\">BOATMURDERED:<\/a> <\/strong>The saga of a Dwarf Fortress run by a succession of emperors. Marvel at the cleverness of Project DOOM (it involves channeling magma), tremble at the exploits of murderous legendary elephants and weep at the sad fate that befalls the inhabitants of BOATMURDERED. BOATMURDERED is, was and ever shall be the most brutal of all fortresses in all of fantasy.<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.classic-pc-games.com\/pc\/simulations\/f_117.html\">F-117 Flight Simulator<\/a>: <\/strong>A DOS era flight simulator. Tom really really really hates Saddam era Iraq and likes to blow it up. So, uh, there you go.<\/p>\n<p>Oh and Iron Man. The movie. I&#8217;m not going to link it. Fuck that noise. It&#8217;s a fun movie but come on. It&#8217;s got like a 50 million dollar advertising budget.<\/p>\n<p>Read below the fold for Tom&#8217;s entire Casey at Bat<br \/>\n<!--more--><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman; font-size: small;\">It looked extremely rocky for  the Darkened Basement Five<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman; font-size: small;\">The Splugorth Slaver had left  only three of the group still alive<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman; font-size: small;\">And after Dave the Dragon failed  to get in his licks<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman; font-size: small;\">The survivors moaned and said  \u201cWe\u2019re in a dreadful fix.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman; font-size: small;\">Steve the Headhunter, who was  one of the two who died<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman; font-size: small;\">Looked at Bob the Dog Boy and  both groaned and sighed<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman; font-size: small;\">They held a last hope, an optimistic  dream<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman; font-size: small;\">That Casey the Glitter Boy  could save the stricken team<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman; font-size: small;\">But the rolling of initiative  had not been kind<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman; font-size: small;\">The Slaver went first, as did  the Warrior Women who were blind<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman; font-size: small;\">Lewis the Psi Stalker\u2019s shot  had gone far and wide<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman; font-size: small;\">And Eric the City Rat used  his 98% Prowl to run and hide<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman; font-size: small;\">But the Slaver did not roll  all that well<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman; font-size: small;\">The feared attack had completely  failed to sell<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman; font-size: small;\">And when the Warrior Women  let loose their deadly fire<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman; font-size: small;\">Not one other character was  added to the pyre<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman; font-size: small;\">And from the Darkened Basement  there rose a mighty cheer<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman; font-size: small;\">It rattled the cardtable and  scattered pretzels and beer<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman; font-size: small;\">A feeling of excitement buzzed  like an electric hum<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman; font-size: small;\">For Casey the Glitter Boy\u2019s  initiative had finally come<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman; font-size: small;\">There was ease in his manner  as Casey reached for the dice<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman; font-size: small;\">The faded black Metallica shirt  he wore still looked quite nice<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman; font-size: small;\">The Slaver had already used  up each and every attack<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman; font-size: small;\">So Casey had three uninterrupted  melees back to back to back<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman; font-size: small;\">All eyes were upon him, the  tension mounted and grew<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman; font-size: small;\">Casey blew on the dice, a technique  tested and true<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman; font-size: small;\">A hint of a smile lit up Casey\u2019s  normally somber face<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman; font-size: small;\">As he announced his suit\u2019s  stabilizer pylons had locked into place<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman; font-size: small;\">And now the twenty-sided plastic  piece sailed through the air<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman; font-size: small;\">As his suit\u2019s mighty boom  gun laid the targets bare<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman; font-size: small;\">No high number was needed,  as all the players knew<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman; font-size: small;\">But when the die landed, the  number came up 2.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman; font-size: small;\">From the gathered players,  there rose an angry shout<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman; font-size: small;\">It rattled the stereo and shook  the anime wall scrolls throughout<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman; font-size: small;\">\u201cFag!\u00a0 Fagball Dice!\u201d  Steve shouted, his rage growing hot<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman; font-size: small;\">And it\u2019s likely to have escalated,  had Casey not said \u201cFag dice, these are not.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman; font-size: small;\">His words calmed the group,  his charisma quite plain<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman; font-size: small;\">He reminded them all that two  attacks were yet to remain<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman; font-size: small;\">Casey picked up the die, and  it clattered to the table graceful as could be<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman; font-size: small;\">And when the number came up,  it showed a 3<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman; font-size: small;\">\u201cFuck!\u201d cried the maddened  group.\u00a0 \u201cFuck, fuckity Dorkballs!\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman; font-size: small;\">The angry cry echoed across  the basement and rattled the walls<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman; font-size: small;\">Casey glared at the die as  if it had committed a crime<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman; font-size: small;\">His cold stare said \u201cYou  have failed me for the last time.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman; font-size: small;\">The smile gone from his face,  Casey screws a Marlboro between his teeth<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman; font-size: small;\">He blew a smoke ring that hung  like a ghostly wreath<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman; font-size: small;\">He grabbed the die a final  time, the air as cold as his soul<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman; font-size: small;\">And now the air is shattered  by the force of Casey\u2019s roll.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman; font-size: small;\">Oh, somewhere out there in  the land, GM\u2019s weave tales of excitement and wonder<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman; font-size: small;\">Game groups are following graph  paper maps, and swords swing and sunder<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman; font-size: small;\">And somewhere heroes are receiving  rewards that such deeds are bound to have entailed<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman;
