Drew played as me, not Cody.

I did not listen to Revelations so apologize if this actually occurred but was/is there a game where all the RPPR crew played as one of the other character game personas? On the surface there is a 36% chance of a fist fight occurring but listening to Caleb playing Aaron or Aaron Playing Tom or Ross playing David seems like a chance for pure comedy gold.

No, they were playing Cthulhu Dark and everybody but Ross died alot. I think Tom went through four characters, several of whom went over the edge of the world. I think for Drew's third or fourth character he decided to play "local published author Ross Payton". It... didn't go great for fictional Ross.

He technically didn't die though in that game, was just badly injured.

True but
he didn't die because the world reset itself. He was going to bleed out of the hole in his side becaue the woman he created did not have first aid in mind.
I just put in another I'm-sure-you've-already-talked-to-him-about-it-but-for-serious-you-should-get-Caleb +1 on that Unknown Armies thread Greg started over on forum.rpg.net! Because seriously. The sooner we can get Caleb on postmodern corebooks the better it'll be for all concerned.

Although of course this would mandate that you start running UA for the podcast. There'd be no other option. Your art would require it.

definitely don't have an agenda here

(make Tom play a dipsomancer)

(oh man make Aaron play a pornomancer)

Hey Caleb,

Have you ever read Thomas Ligotti?  S. T. Joshi considers him one of Lovecraft's heirs and he is fantastic.

I ask specifically because I am working through Teatro Grottesco and one of Ligotti's short stories is "The Red Tower" which is superficially similar to your adventure "The Red Tower".

Did Ligotti inspire you or is this one of those strange coincidences of convergent evolution?

Even though Ligotti's "The Red Tower"...deals with a different topic I could see the story used wholecloth as a journal written by someone exposed to the horror within your "The Red Tower".

Edit: Ross if you are looking for inspiration for another Carcosa game, I couldn't recommend Teatro Grottesco more, specifically "The Town Manager" and "The Red Tower".

Edit 2:Have you guys talked about True Detective on one of your podcasts yet?

The most recent RPPR and on the Unspeakable podcast they've talked about True Detective, though not in extreme detail.

TD is a great show, cannot wait for 2nd season. I hope there's a CoC or Dirty World game based on it, or something.

Yeah! I love Teatro Grottesco! I actually give it a shout-out in the first RPPR episode in which I appear. And yes, The Red Tower was inspired by The Red Tower. The description of the final level is what I imagine the inside of Chambliss looks like after he's made his transformation.

Where can I find information on the Skype game ran as part of the $100 reward from the No Security Kickstarter?  Will there be a similar reward in the next kickstarter?

There are two actual plays posted:

http://drunkandugly.com/2012/09/21/call-of-cthulu-lover-before-the-ice/

and

http://actualplay.roleplayingpublicradio.com/2013/06/systems/call-of-cthulhu/call-of-cthulhu-danger-roadwork-ahead/

And yes, I'll definitely be offering online games for the next KS (though I am probably going to switch to the far superior Google hangouts)

If you backed the Transhuman Kickstarer at the PDF rewards level, the adventure I wrote, The Devotees, is available for download today. Check it out and tell me what you think!

Had a look through it. Two thoughts came to mind.
Why had i not realised the vodoo connection with Legba and Nine Lives?
When will RPPR release recordings of the playtest?

The adventure looks good.

Hey, just thought I'd add to Caleb's announcement, for all of those who missed out on the Transhuman Kickstarter, The Devotees will be available on DriveThruRPG on April 23!

Ah! I'm late to the party then.

Thanks for the reply.
