Just finished listening to your CoC scenario Caleb.

Your writing is amazing, your pacing is amazing, everything about this scenario was amazing...

Keep writing my friend, your stuff is brilliant!

I would love to run this for my group if you ever get the chance to post your notes...

I love your timing when jumping from scene to scene.  You know just how far to let the crazy go before jump cutting to another scene.

This thing creeped me the hell out. Especially the first time one showed up. Damn, damn creepy. Not something I should listen to late at night just before going to bed.

Don't listen to the CoC APs when you're sitting in a boat's cockpit at 2am pulling archor watch, in a thick layer of fog, with cliffs looming up on one side, rigging clanking as the boat rises and falls with the waves.

Thank you so much for the kind words!  Y'all made my day!

I'm finding I tend to write these things for myself only (sentence frags, abbreviations, lots of arrows instead of transitions, etc), so the notes won't do anyone much good right now.  Currently, I'm trying to come up with something for A Dirty World to play at Gencon. After I get that hashed out, I'll work on fleshing things out for Bryson and making everything legible.  I'll upload whatever results on the forum when it is done.  Promise.

Again, thanks to everybody.  I can't tell you how nice it is to feel welcome.

Ok that's awesome in of itself. We need a 'where do you listen to RPPR?' thread.

I'm so down for playing in that if there's room. Ever since Andrew's Fortune I've even been looking into running a one-shot of a DW game for my group.

Also dude you are very welcome.

I'm going to echo everyone else in the thread and congratulate on your skills Caleb.  The fact you spun whole-cloth the background for the creature was epic in and of itself.  Tying it into a little girl's ditty about her toy?  Fucking priceless.

Best 6 hours on iTunes. Evar. Caleb + Aaron = Splendiferousness.
It's too late to be clever. I'll try being adventurous.

Ross, I didn't know where to put this, so feel free to move it if it fits better elsewhere.

I'm writing up a Delta Green thing for GenCon but don't have copies of the books yet.  I understand that the mechanics are the same, but in playing it, I noticed that lingo played a pretty big role.

Here's the DC code-speak I know so far:
"You are invited to a night at the opera." = you are going on a Delta Green mission
"Eliminate the vector" = kill the mythos-affected character/thing
Cells = teams are organized by alphabetized cells and each members code name starts with that letter
...and that's about it.

I'm making up a monster again so I'm not too concerned about mythos stuff, but I'd like to get the organizational stuff down as I write it.  What are the other code words/phrases used in a Delta Green scenario?  Any help?

The games I've run borrowed military and federal agency terms. I suggest borrowing from this list for ideas:

There's a DG wiki http://fairfieldproject.wikidot.com - a lot of the material is fan based though not canonical

this is DG's core structure

Delta Green is now organized on a cell structure, with each cell consisting of three Agents (those aware of the illegal nature of Delta Green) and multiple Friendlies (those decieved into believing that Delta Green still works for the American government). The cells are named alphabetically (Cell A  through Cell Z), with cell Agents code-named accordingly (e.g. Agents Roland, Richard, and Roy for Cell R). Cell hierarchy is ambigious, but the command cell of Delta Green is Cell A, consisting of Alphonse, Adam, and (possibly) Andrea.
