If you haven't already (I haven't checked), I would like permissions too.  And if it's not too game breaking, whatever that thing was that made creepers ignore you would be nice (though that kind of seems like cheating and may have to be server-wide, in which case, not too big a deal)...

if you had permission before, you have it now.

On the mod suggestion side, have you heard of Runecraft ? It adds some cool things to the game, such as teleportation runes, that would be fun to play with.

Who installed a wall-wide window into my house?

I don't really mind, but I'd like people to ask before they do stuff like that.

Also there's a stone-brick building with a 'Public Storage Shed' sign on it. Anything in there is free for anyone who needs/wants the stuff.

I decided to try running the backup through the map renderer Tectonicus. The software is still not updated to read mca files but the backup also had the mcr files from before the 1.2 patch.

and... we have a lot of chunks to render, 3 hours so far, and on 98808 of 201725 chunks... and then it has to downsize them for multiple zoom levels oi

Wait, so what does this do now?

it makes a google maps of your minecraft level basically, able to zoom in and see it in high level.

Does night and cave renders too, and if a server file shows everyone's last logoff point with an icon based off their minecraft skin

make sure you post the final map when you do so. I'd love to see it too.

Alright, it's sucked me in. I'm so addicted.

I've got a crappy wooden house and a stone mining shack on one of the tundra islands. I've enclosed the whole landmass in a wall 3 blocks high. I'm still going to build an overhang, but otherwise it is complete.

My larger plan is to build a city dedicated to the deity that made my Minecraft life possible, ClockworkJoe. Without his endless bounty, I'd have long ago been consumed by the creatures of the night. Eventually, through our dedicated toil, we can a erect a burning metropolis dedicated to our Lord Admin.

I shall personally begin construction soon. All are welcome to contribute their labor to the living testimony of our Lord. A series of laws shall be instituted within the city. Violations of these laws will result in angering our Lord.

--No Theft
--Wanton destruction of property is sacrilege.
--No admin. building. The false gods may contribute resources to those toiling in service of their better if they so wish, but buildings constructed within the city by these rouge flying deities will be considered BLASPHEMY.
--Once the Zombie Church is constructed, all effort is to be made to spare the holy undead by kiting them to our special underground storage container. To die in the attempt is divine martyrdom to our Lord.

Other commandments shall be issued as revelations are bestowed. TOGETHER, WE SHALL ERECT A CITY ON A HILL, AN EXAMPLE FOR ALL TO SEE.

I'll try to get a high compressed multiple file rar via torrent for you later!
