Pax East 2014 meetup/games
« on: March 31, 2014, 08:29:33 PM »
Seemed to be enough of us going to this to justify it's own thread :D

So my wife and I are manning a booth, so after hours is pretty much the only possibility for us.  Based on past experience my guess is that Friday night is going to be frenzied setup and Sunday night is going to be exhausted breakdown, meaning that Saturday night is probably the safest bet (for us.)

Don't know how that shakes out with everyone else.

Saturday night sounds good! What booth are you manning? I'll be at the Pixelscopic booth part of the time.

I'm not attending Pax East this year, but I live not far from the convention center, so I'd love to meet up somewhere after hours and meet some folks.

We're the Eclectic Eccentricities booth at 1160.  It's our own little home business, mostly handmade nerdy chachkas.

So don't know what, if any, game plans there are but I'm bringing Channel A.  Had some great fun with that game.

Yes, I bought it because I listened the RPPR channel A game.

PAX east veterans: where's a good place to meet? I'll be wearing a Pixelscopic t-shirt regardless, but it would probably be easier if there's an established place for us to meet.

Main lobby area seems like it would work pretty well off the top of my head.  It's easy to find, wide open, and has numerous easy to spot landmarks.  Most notably the main doors that lead to the dealer hall, but also life sized resin promotional statues of game characters.

Okay that sounds good. Let's shoot for 6:30-7 PM at the main hall on Saturday.

Cool. I'll be there assuming that I don't do incredibly well in the Netrunner tournament.

Having seen how big the hall is, we might need a more specific place to meet! I don't know what anybody looks like :)
Those of us with exhibitor badges could meet by the big Evolve monster at 6:30.
Otherwise outside somewhere?

I'm afraid I was just called into work, so the chances of me making it are very low. Sorry, guys.

So just wanted to say I had a great time getting to hang out with folks and make some new friends. It was fun times and silliness. A little sad we didn't get to play more Channel A, maybe we can do it again next year!
