I never did roll up a FATAL character because it looked like way too much damn work (and because I honestly couldn't understand how) but I've heard there was a program that made them for you at some point.  If so, I kind of want to find it for the sake of morbid curiosity.

Whoa!  I can't believe you had/found the FATAL character generator!  I'll have to play around with it this weekend.

The program runs fine...  And dear GAWD the character background info was every bit as whacktastic as I'd imagined it would be...  Yes.  We need a horror thread around here indeed!  ;)

I just want to make a shout-out to a video Let's Play thread for a game that is both a trainwreck and a masterpiece at the same time, Deadly Premonitions.

Hated by the critics, this game has gained a cult following for it's great story, off-kilter characters. As the LPer states, this is what you get when you cross Resident Evil 4, Shenmue, and Twin Peaks.

The LP is a 100% run, with every side-quest and every feature being shown. Each LP episode is about an hour long, which is good for a game that is 20+ hours long.
