A Note from your Loving Moderators
« on: March 04, 2010, 09:33:27 AM »
Maze and I have become fed up with the flame wars and some of the other bullshit that has started to occur daily on the threads. And we're not talking about the jabs at one another that are all in good fun - like telling Cody it's OK if he still dresses like a girl or making fun of Ross' announcer voice - but the actual flame wars that have started to creep in. This is a first and final warning before we start flexing our mod powers.

I'm from Alaska. About Fifty miles south of Ankorage there's a little fishing town, maybe you've heard of it, it's called fuck your momma.

Alright, we'll stop stoking the fire and just let them burn out on their own.

I'll be the first to admit that I'm at least partly to blame, and for that I apologize.
I agree with Tad's statement and will try to do the same.

You know we're not talking about you. It's sad, but I think we going to have to go with my mom's old advice of just ignoring the people who bother us.

Oh I know.

Sean and me are playing a new game: Cold War. It's like flame war except everyone apologizes publically while plotting evil schemes privately and using PMs to make secret alliances.

You moderators are just like Nazi furry haters!

Are you calling us Nazis? Or are you saying there is a neo-Nazi furry group out there?

I'm joking in reference to "another flamee war on the internet" audio from RPPR.

In this world there probably is a neo-Nazi furry group. In fact there are probably several who argue amongst themselves  ;D

In this world there probably is a neo-Nazi furry group.

And if there wasn't there is now. Metaphilosophy and internet study have proven that someone theorizing a group could exist, either in reality or on the internet, cause it to be so and retroactivally to have been so.

It works with fetishes too.

Not to change the subject, but how do the Mods feel about recent topic derailment?

I don't mind derailment for the sake of comedy and as long as it doesn't become a flame war.
