So we got our spiffy RPPR buttons and all but we still need to pick a general location to be in at about the same time if we're going to be an actually meet up.

I'm gonna open up the convention center section of town on google maps and look for a dinner or something.

How about Kilroy's Bar and Grill? It's like two blocks east of the center. I have no idea what places fill up fast (though I imagine everything is gonna be packed with gamers).

I've suggest a place to meet in the center but I've never been inside it before.

I'm down with that as long as it's non-smoking? I'm a bit asthmatic and heavy cigarette smoke = unhappy. :(

I think everything is non-smoking now, federal regulations and all. No lit cigarettes in public buildings or within 25 feet of an public doorways (though I've been out with my extra obnoxious tape measure and that second part gets a little lax). But with a name that includes "bar and grill" who really knows?

Work out where your staying yet, Shrapnel?

Yeah, I'm at the Sleep Inn near the airport. I think someone else was staying there, so I'll have company and someone to split a cab with if late night travel comes up.

My girlfriend will also be coming along, she's hoping to find an ad-hoc MAOCT game at some point.

I'm holed up there, infact, and I'll be more than happy to split a cab if the need arises.

Turns out that I selected FedEx delievery back when I ordered my badge because I just got an e-mail that my package from "GenCon" had shipped. Should have my badge and paper gaming money soon. Sweet.

Got my badge in the mail yesterday. Now I just have to figure out what to put it in so I can wear it.

The convention has freebie bade holders that work pretty well as long as you're not too rough with them (mine disintegrated on the third day of the con). They do sell better ones for around $10, I think.

Ah, see, that's how they get you.

I'll probably pick up one of the nice ones then, so I have something to show off when everything's over. Gamer bing, as it where.

Got mine. At the meet up I'll be the fat guy in a hawaiian shirt with an RPPR button.

I don't know some of these extras. I've got a Don't Rest Your Head character but not one from the one game I've hear. I got a CoC character from a 90s game. Also have two of Arje's powers and one of Dan's items. Crown Jewel of the collection? B.A. Fucking Baracus! I should have this framed and hung at the office and let all my co-workers think I'm totally insane.

That's a bit vague. What game?

The only 90s game I've heard from RPPR was the End of the World game from way back. Character's an Engineer, Zeke Patton. Only skill check he's got is in Law, which he's got at base.
