Fringe
« on: June 14, 2010, 06:19:20 PM »
A show that just ended its 2nd season. By JJ Abrams of Star Trek and Lost fame. Basically, the X-Files crossed with another show which I'm too tired to remember and too lazy to look up.

Any Fringe fans out there?

I'm torn on watching it. Some of the previews look good, but when I've watched the show it was lame. Is it all on Hulu?

It's a show that is based around the premise of "monster of the week" but all of the monsters are original and interesting. Some of the show is a little formulaic, but it can be forgiven. I like it, but I don't love it.

Yeah, it is based around monster of the weak but i thought the
alternate universe
stuff was pretty cool.

I think only the last 5 trailing episodes are on hulu. There are several other ways to watch it though through peer to peer sites and whatnot.

I watched the first season and it was awesome, a little slow at times but it had a great ending.  I need to watch the second season.

I watched most of it but got bored of it during the second season. I wanted to love it but every episode was so predictable. Let me guess, you learn at the end of the season that
GASP! PETER IS FROM THE ALTERNATE DIMENSION AND HAD BEEN KIDNAPPED BY WALTER ALL ALONG!
If they start mixing it up a bit at season 3 I'll probably go back to it.

By the way, anybody else got confused by the "unearthed" episode?
Sniffle. Well if you were paying attention then you would already know like halfway in season 2 that peter is from the alternate dimension. If you didn't catch the last couple of s2 episodes, you missed out. Sniffle.
Unearthed was filmed in season 1, so yeah charlie is still alive.

Yeah, I guessed it the second I saw the tombstone. From then on, they just keep hitting you on the head with it.
Francis was my favorite character.
You don't learn that at the end of the season. The last episode is probably the biggest cliffhanger in the world. Fucking Abrams.

I haven't seen season 2 yet, but I appreciate all the spoiler buttons. It allows me to avoid all unwanted information.

*sniff* Remember when Order66 told everyone he was going to go awayto write for Fringe? A sad day. Maybe one day he'll come back to say hello, and apologise for any of the low points in the show.

Until then *sniff* we'll ...always have Paris. *sniff*

Sorry, I promised I wouldn't cry,

I'm pretty sure order66 left us to go become a Fox exec.

You know, the people who canceled firefly.

What a cocksucker.

I'm glad that he is gone. Forever.

Abrams, please protect Fringe from the might of the executive cocksucker.

I'd lick some Murdoch boot for what those guys make.
