In order to be a conforming non-conformist, I have decided to play Oblivion...

Actually it's just on sale so I bought it...

Going for that ironic game play experience, eh?

In order to tide me over until Christmas when my sister in-law said I could get it, I've been playing Oblivion as well.
42.7% of all statistics are made up on the spot.
If you can't fix it with duck tape you haven't used enough.
I intend to live forever -- so far, so good.

For those of you that (like me) are waiting for a price drop on Skyrim, Bethesda released The Elder Scrolls: Daggerfall for free back in 2009.

You can get it here or get the pre-patched game with a few unofficial add-ons here.

Also worthy of mention is that Daggerfall has 15,000 cities, villages, towns and dungeons. It is approximately 487,000 square kilometers (compared to Oblivion's Cyrodiil which is 41.4 square kilometers). You can also count up the number of quests to see that there's a lot of content in here.

Did I mention it's free? Because it is. And awesome too.

Skyward Sword is quite fun and enjoyable.  Very nice looking and I can't wait to get farther...

I play actively. Should we set up some kind of RPPR mega project?

I have a humorous left 4 dead 2 story. I almost never start a fresh game, preferring to join online games in progress. Of  course this almost always means joining the side that is losing and people have raged out of. This doesn't bother me as I like to play and losing has never bothered me. So, I spawn in on the infected side in No Mercy map 4: The hospital. The enemy team that is in the lead by a lot is already in the elevator on their way to the 28th floor. I'm a charger so I find one of the good spots and manage to charge one of the survivors off the building. So, the guy I charged off types into the chat window

"who cares"

Now, I'm not much of a trash talker, but this seemed to be asking for a response, so I give the obvious one:

"You do"

He proceeds to explain to me that I should look at the scoreboard. I explain that I really don't care about it. He explains that it's the only thing that really matters. So... fair enough, he takes his game (too) seriously. So, it's our turn to be survivors and my team isn't so hot. We get nailed quickly, and this guy and his team keep on and on with the denigrating comments.

Map 5 is up and being the leaders they are up first. Since we are losing and this guy is a jerk, I decide he is going to be my bitch. I get a jockey and since he is running around trash talking, I jockey him off the side. His friends don't get to him in time so they suicide jump and laugh about the score. They are looking forward to just beating on us as we can't possibly win with the scores this way.

Predictable we are getting our butts handed to us while these guys keep coming with the comments. We do hold out for a while, but things go sour. All the time I'm watching the score screen. Near the end, int he last few seconds with just one survivor up, one of their teammates leaves. I quickly hit the switch team button, just as they finish him off ending the game....with me on the winning team! The guy just about shits himself when I pop onto my mic and announce I WIN! So funny!!!!

4 player max because I am cheap and I want to see how popular this will be before I pay too much for hosting.

Do we want an adventure mode server or sandbox mode server?

Adventure, of course.

I haven't played multi-player before. This will be delightful.

I made a house near the starting point. It's in a field and should be pretty easy to find.
