I admit I thought it was badass when I first saw it but when I see it now, I just wince.

Smokin' Aces is probably my favorite pure action film.
As far as action dramas (which is probably where I would say Boondock Saints more appropriately falls), you really can't go wrong with Heat, A Good Night to Die, and Eastern Promises.
