Using this tool: http://www.conveythis.com/translation.php (http://www.conveythis.com/translation.php) be sure to click on on Max translations from the drop down.
post some innocuous phrase or whatnot, and then post what it becomes. Example.
"Would you like to come to the party, the pants party, the party in my pants." Becomes "Development of bermuda"
If there are any stellar intermediary steps, post those as well.
-
"Transformers, Robots in Disguise." becomes "Toransufomarobotto can hide."
-
"There are monsters in the school, Tom." becomes "Rakshastal name of the lake."
-
"Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipisicing elit, sed do eiusmod tempor incididunt ut labore et dolore magna aliqua." becomes "Launch: How important is it to be published konsektetur adipisising eiusmod insididunt slantshoyd Magna said."
(Apparently the graphic designer in me is an asshole.)
-
Hmm, I'm afraid my innocuous phrase didn't become anything funny, but the translations themselves reveal a heartrending story of passing one's prime, trying to recapture the limelight, and finally sinking into obscurity.
I'm the best there is at what I do, and what I don't isn't very nice.
- Wolverine at his best
I'm not good at what I do and I'm not very nice.
- Suddenly, he has a moment of crisis about his abilities and existence
I'm not very good at what I do and I'm not very good.
- Shaken, he falls into a spiral and becomes redundant. And repetative. And redundant.
I'm not very well what I do and I'm not so good.
- This shock to his psyche critically affects his mutant healing power
I have to do very well and I'm not I'm not so good.
- Logan realises he can't fall behind, and looks to earn a living with hip-hop
I do well and I am not very good.
- Logan tries to recapture the magic, but can't quite get the catchphrase right
Well, I was not very good.
- Finally, he must admit his failure
Well, I did not go well.
Well, I is not good.
Well, not good.
- His mental faculties finally deteriorate....
Well, well.
Good, good.
Okay, okay.
Good, good.
Well, well.
- ...and he becomes a henpecked husband.
So sad. :(

What Shakespeare said:
Shall I compare thee to a summer's day? Thou art more lovely, and more temperate!
What Shakespeare meant:
"Very good compared to my sister!"
Edit:
Rough winds do shake the darling buds of May, and Summer's lease hath all to short a date
-> Airkraft work ethics.
This is the perfect language compressor for twitter, like bit.ly for poetry!

"Role playing public radio"
...54 translations later we get:

...10 translations later we get:
"King Child"
-

This is like that code from the Eisenhorn books Ross recommended.
-
"Fuck yourself" goes from "With a hammer" to "Hammer" and then finally, "Ax". What the hell?
"Go fuck yourself" becomes "Paula".
-
"Help I am stuck in an internet factory." becomes "Help to paint a set of measures."
"Fucking magnets, how do they work?" becomes "Dumb and love, how does it work?"
"Frog Snatch" just becomes "Frogs"
"I had him raped by a bee queen." becomes "I know this is contrary to the Queen."
-
I think I have discovered the meaning of life "Och aye the noo". I was channeling my scottish brogue and it was translated to 'Life'.
-

--------------------- We have enough heads without children, hurry up.
--------------------- We have no children, so there is no headache.
--------------------- No child today, and gives me headaches.
-
Citizens of tomorrow be forewarned (an evolution)
In order to warn citizens of tomorrow
We remind the audience tomorrow

Open the disc tray.

to "I down the laser."
to "My laser is small."

"Bitch, get me a sandwich!" turns into the much more innocuous "hey, my sandwich!"
I've got a lovely bunch of coconuts = Rich oil storage.
"Hark, a vagrant!" = "Iran!"
but "Bitch, please!" is the same no matter what.
-
Itty Bitty Titty Committee becomes "Breakfast for all ages".
-
I'm posting this here because it's thematically related.
My buddy is using Google Translator to "translate" the works of Robert Frost: http://frostintranslation.wordpress.com/2011/05/15/the-pasture/
Basically he posts a poem in the translation box and translates it through each language in alphabetical order.
-
To see what has changed in the machine translators since last year, I punched in some of the last results from this:
"Enlightenment thinkers encoded racism into their ideological framework." -> "Ankriptyon Thinkers like Russet." (56 translations)
"Itty Bitty Titty Committee" -> "Tips and Tricks." (It also turned into "Executive Board Tricks" at some point)
"Bitch, get me a sandwich!" -> "Snvik แ ฉ ใ jazz!" (though the last comprehensible translation was "Give me a sandwich!" at around 52 translations. Apparently translating to Thai broke everything).

Apparently Haitian Creole breaks the translator on this one. "Encryption" becomes translated as "Ankriptyon" but never gets translated again.
-
Putting the Second Amendment through 56 translations yields: "Police considered that the defense is bad, the right to gun Ownership."
And the Third Amendment: "Army life at home in conference."
