First F.E.A.R and first expansion are good enjoyable horror-shooters.  The rest are crap.

I am enjoying Battlefield 3 and rocketing fully-loaded 'copters.

Yeah, Ross already took my money.

Off to sate my Slenderman crush fix!

How do you get access to these extra APs?  Inquiring minds, namely mine, need to know!!!

Crook's End from the Book of Unremitting Horror.  It has all of the stipulations you need, especially if you play up the deadliness of 'bad' ghost.  If you want to hear an AP of it, download the first episode of NerdBound.

Through A Glass Darkly is the newest Delta Green novel.

I smell an x-mas present by one of your adoring fans. (Not me.)

Wait, Ross has adoring fans?  I thought those were reserved for everyone else on RPPR?

1) Iron Heroes
2) Yakuza GURPS
3) Rogue Trader

Iron Heroes because I need my swords and sandals fix damnit.  Yakuza because crimelord Caleb/Cody/Tom/Aaron would be deeply amusing.  Rogue Trader I put last only because I feel a different podcast is already feeding my need there.

Would you include encounter cards/mythos phase cards in this?  To me they seemed to largely just additional "options."

Yes, definitely.  Mythos cards are the main way any of the expansions influence the game.  You will easily dilute the flavor and potency of any expansion by combining it with another.  My group has lately taken to just using one expansion to maximize the impact it has on the game.  New characters are the easiest thing to import from any expansion, as they tend to be self-contained.

Delta Green is moving to its own system because of licensing restrictions from Chaosium.

That is one factor, but for some reason I vaguely recall there being mention of the rules being an issue from discussions on the mailing list, but I can't find those posts.

I'll counter your point Salkovich with the simple fact that one of the reasons Delta Green is moving to it's own system is that the BRP of Chaosium is starting to show it's age.  For one thing, the Sanity rules are less than satisfactory.

I'm probably going to run Eclipse Phase once my friend finishes his one-shot and we run through it.

I'm Patrick, from Alaska.  I'm friends with Kevin Kircus, which is were I heard about you guys.

I have spent way too much money on Eclipse Phase/Delta Green/MaOCT lately because of RPPR insanity.

I would have recommended buying the Dunwich Horror expansion before Kingsport.  Dunwich solves the mid/late-game lull by having gate bursts which open gates at location disregarding seals.  Although I do not recommend using most of the Dunwich AOs while I do recommend the Kingsport AOs.  The characters are a bit of a wash, with the later expansions (Kingsport/Innsmouth) having more interesting/esoteric characters compared to the bland solidness of some of the Dunwich characters.

The main thing is getting an expansion with gate-bursts in it.  That solves all of the issues with gaming pacing slowing as gates are sealed.

If you have any questions, just ask as I own all of the Arkham Horror sets.

PS - Avoid mixing two of the big-box sets together, you dilute the flavor/mechanics too much for them to matter.
