I can't spoiler tag this image, so I'm just going to direct link to it. Don't click if you haven't seen the latest season!

I'm playing Fallout: New Vegas and the Battlefield 3 beta. Both are great.

I'd recommend the BF3 beta to anyone who enjoys MP FPS games, it's not too big a download as there's only one map.

I vote for Rogue Trader as I'm in a Deathwatch game right now and it's pretty fucking awesome.

Definitely look into Dark Heresy and Deathwatch if you're checking out Rogue Trader, they're all the same system, just a slightly different setting. Dark Heresy is more like CoC in the 40k world and Deathwatch is a mission based game where you play as elite Space Marines and just shoot everything in the fucking face.

I know this is super last minute, but I'm available now and can play if you'll have me.

Sorry about the extremely late post.

I was wrong, I am busy leading up to this time, if I get on in time then I'll show up but I really doubt I will be available. Sorry.

OK, we're on for this Friday, ~6pm central, hopefully (barring any more spontaneous bouts of feline leukemia or whatever).

Anyway, tools needed for whoever wants to join:
Maptool (version 1.3b86) http://www.rptools.net/index.php?page=downloads#MapTool
Ventrillo - http://www.ventrilo.com/download.php (will PM/email server details friday)

Could you confirm the players of the game before Friday? The reason I ask is that you already had a lot of interest before I posted in the thread and I'd like to know whether you have room for me and if I should be ready to play or not.

Thanks.

I'd love to join this if there's still a slot.

GMT here, can probably make a late game.

I played a bit of Red Orchestra 2 beta earlier with Dom, it's pretty good. Also Deus Ex and Space Marine demo.

This was a short documentary video posted after Deus Ex Human Revolution was released. It shows the current state of prosthetics, and how they compare the game's setting in 2027.

WARNING: There is a short five-second clip with medical gore.

That was really interesting.

I just got a Kindle today for my birthday so I'll buy this from Amazon along with a bunch of other books.

I suppose this Dwarf Fortress fan art could be considered NSFW. If there are animated piles of bones, why can't there be an animated pile of skin?

I'm thinking about getting Prototype.

Thoughts?

It's really fun, it just gets repetitive as a lot of the content is repeating missions (a la Assassin's Creed 1). The story is very Delta Green, so if you like the genre of Black Operations and crazy government conspiracies then you'll probably enjoy it.

Also helicopter blades gib pedestrians.
