Dirk Daring's most controversial exploit was his conquest of the Forgotten Realms. Apparently he made a mistake when creating a Gate and wound up in the Realms. Using his elder sign enchanted tommy guns (with Yithian regenerating metal ammo drums that gave him unlimited bullets), he singlehandedly conquered the world and killed a few evil gods too. Unfortunately the RPGA did not agree and that is why I am not allowed to play in sanctioned D&D games anymore.
