Actual Play Category Icons

When I set up the new AP feed, I will use Category Icons with this wordpress plugin http://www.category-icons.com/

I picture an icon for system and perhaps some others.

What kind of icons/categories should I set up?

Do you want to contribute some icons?

I'm thinking square, 30x30 or so pixels.

Pictures are fun to have.

Not being sure how this icon system works I'd suggest something simple, like the dragon icon of RPPR and stylized letter "R" and "P" icons.

That's a really tough one. I would think that dividing up by genre would be best, since dividing by gametypes would be really hard. (Is Shadowrun a more like WoD or DnD?)

Horror, Fantasy, Sci-Fi, Mundane, "Strange or Other"?

However you end up dividing, I would subdivide by One Shot/Short Form vs. Ongoing Campaign if that's an option.


As for icons... I could put some stuff together. Maybe a Cthulhu silhouette for "horror", a Sword for fantasy, a CyberEye for Sci-Fi, and a pistol or a normal face for Mundane?

Wow. Well, than I'd suggest an icon for each game system that gets played as well as icons for the major genres in gaming.

We, by which I mean the forum goers, could also make icons for the different players as a fan project.
