UPDATE:

The interview is tomorrow at 3pm MST. Hoooo-lee shit am I nervous. I'm studying and finishing up my final prep tonight. Let's hope that I'm the best guy for the job.
Thanos: "I am going to sacrifice the Earth to gain the love of Death"
Me: (slowly raise eyebrow) "Destroy the Earth? That would be...illogical"
Vortex: "Yes...that...would be...highly...illogical."
Thanos: "Your Star Trek references bore me."

Yeah man.  Go big or go home.  Turn that anxiety into eagerness.  KICK THAT INTERVIEW'S ASS.

UPDATE:

After a bunch of nerves and whatnot I went into the interview with that "enthusiasm rather than nervousness" attitude. The end result is that the interview was likely the best interview that I have ever had in my life. I won't go into too much detail but the guy interviewing me did a little bit of homework on me himself and it turns out that I'm known for being a reliable guy in the office.

I'm feeling really confident. The hard part is done. Now onto the waiting portion.

After two years of waiting for the job to post, after over five months of fretting and studying, and after a three week long wait after a badass interview I am proud to announce...

I GOT THE FUCKING JOB!
WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOT!!!!!!

Thanks for all the advice and well wishes, everyone. You guys really gave me that little extra bit of steam going into that interview. Especially the advice to replace any nervousness with enthusiasm. I repeated that to myself a few times psyching up for my interview before I did my whole zen no mind thing.

*victory dance*

FUCK YEAH.

I'm stoked. I start my new job Feb 16.
