Love the Halloween episode Caleb.  I have a question, the little blurb you read at the end about people traveling back to caveman time, where is that from?

Fuck you, Caleb!

FFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK  YOOOOOOOOOOOOOOUUUUU

FUCK YOU!
You know what happens when normal people only have a couple hours to prep for a game?  You get some cultists, in a house, with a human sacrifice, and a Shoggoth.  Is that good enough for Caleb?  FUCK NO.  He has to come up with goddamn time-traveling 4chan trolls from the future using total surveillance history as pseudo-precognition, in a fucking three-act structure spanning thirty motherfucking years!

How about you slip in a puddle of FUCK YOURSELF.  I'm gonna go find a beautiful woman to hit on, so that when she looks horrified and grabs for her can of Mace I DON'T FEEL AS BAD ABOUT MYSELF AS I DO RIGHT NOW.

...in all seriousness, that was really fucking impressive.  Congratulations.  And fuck you.
 ;D

Best line of the game:  "Pastor Glancy pulls out his Deagle."

For those interested, the latest PDF from the No Security ransom is up. This is the mountain-climbing game Ross bitched about for a year. So if you're looking to piss your players off in the same way, give it a play and tell me how things go.

Just finished reading through "The Fall Without End". Can't wait to get to play through it, but for now I'll just listen to the Actual Play again.

I'm finally going to run a version of Lover in the Ice this Sunday in my Delta Green campaign. Since my players are heavily involved with the Karotechia and Herr Galt, I'm adding some of that German spice to the mix.

Har de har har!!!

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0687224/

The almanac is forecasting a rainstorm through Avonlea, which is bad news for Alec as if so, he will lose his hay crop if he can't harvest it before the rains. Alec is already short of manpower with Felix working at the hotel and Felicity concentrating on her studies. So Alec believes it is providence when a stranger named Caleb Stokes takes refuge from the possible storm in the King's barn. Alec offers Caleb a short term job haying, and lodging in the barn, both which Caleb readily accepts. Although Alec appreciates the hard work and knowledge with which Caleb does his farm work, others are a little more suspicious of the stranger, namely Janet for who the safety of her family is foremost, and Hetty who is just naturally the suspicious type. Caleb is not forthcoming with information about himself, but the Kings can see that he is a man with two sides: he is obviously well read and well educated, yet seems to thrive doing farm work. These opposing aspects raise more questions than ...

I'm going to lay this down straight.

Caleb, Kickstart your Weird West system.
I will give you money.
Lots of money.

Since the British pound sterling is worth $1.5341 per unit (at the moment) I can assure you that me giving you money will be worth more.

Since the kuai is .1615 per unit my patronage may be less, but I would have great interest in such a system.

I'm considering it. I'm making a character sheet for it today, and we are going to try it out in a couple of weeks. If it works and is fun, I'd try to get it on KS sometime at the end of summer.

I know at least two players in my current gaming circle who would be interested in just the kind of world that you describe. I could get a group together to play it easily.

If you do go forward with development I'd love the chance to play test for you.

Ironically if Caleb works fast enough, he could launch a Kickstarter for his game and release it before Far West ever hits the market http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/Adamant/far-west-western-wuxia-mashup-adventure-game

I finally remembered the other game idea!

I wanted to say that the second game idea from the new podcast, normal people deciding to kill a super being, sounded extremely appealing. It'd make a heck of a game if you could do it right. I love the pitch of normal people deciding that the Joker needs to die (and stay dead).
