New World Primer is here
« on: May 20, 2009, 11:11:36 PM »
Laid over 40 pages today but formatting for the monsters takes more time. Hopefully Thursday. The entire PDF is over 22,000 words at this point and with several original pieces of artwork.

Having spent a good 2 hours proofreading a large section of it. It's well worth the extra 24-48 hour wait.

Speaking on behalf of the listeners, I'm sure it is. And we'll likely cheer him greatly after we have it. Until then, the whip needs cracking. But all in good fun, we're not even using the cat-of-nine-tails.

And, after all, we're still not as bad as WoC about release dates.

You mean the dangeling carrot with books and the 'we'll get to it eventually' with electronics?

They're changing it again too. I just got an email regarding changes in the subscription for Dungeon and Dragon. Short story is rates are going up.

Congratulations to all who worked on it!  :)

I've downloaded and look forward to reading it over the weekend.

It looks awesome so far.  I just looked it over and I am very happy with making the contribution that I did.  Great Job Ross, and all that helped along the way.

Well worth it! I'd do it again! Now I can use my forgotten realms campaign setting book as liner at the bottom of my bird's cage.

Excellent job to everyone!

Looks good at first glance. I like the artwork alot, especially the Grippli pieces. I'll be reading for content over the next few days.

That is actually has maps impresses me greatly as well, I wasn't expecting them.

Thank the four artists who contributed to the primer. I'm going to set up an image gallery on the RPPR site to showcase it because it's all so damn great.

As for the maps, I bought a copy of Dunjinni and I have figured it out pretty well. I already have an idea for another ransom project: A bigass dungeon crawl/module based on the goblin hulk. Map out every deck and let the players either start as goblins trying to survive and take over the hulk or as adventurers invading the hulk to destroy it.
