The best of Delta Green on RPPR
« on: August 17, 2015, 07:13:14 PM »
Help us bring Delta Green to Kickstarter! We are helping Arc Dream put together a great video to help sell DG to a new generation of gamer. To that end, we need to showcase the best of it on RPPR.

What are your favorite parts from any of the Delta Green actual plays, interviews, panel discussions, or other episodes (including the Unspeakable podcast)? Please post them here with time codes, so we can use them in the Delta Green Kickstarter video.

Also, if you're a dedicated fan of Delta Green, consider recording a short (under 30 seconds) video or audio testimonial. You may appear in the KS video!

Too lazy to look up the timecode right now, but that description of the Green Box contents from Lover in the Ice, including the caged bird. I'll never look at a self-storage facility the same way.

I'll edit this later for more entries but at the top of the list has to be Unspeakable! EP 7 and the banter about Convergence with Ivey, Tynes and Glancy. About the 1hr32m mark.

The audio recording clue gets mentioned and played by Tynes and then you get this immortal exchange:

Glancy: No good's going to come from unravelling that clue.

Ivey: After that game one of my players told me he had nightmares for days.

Glancy: Then there's that reveal ... holy shit are we f*cked!

Ivey: Remember that plot immunity that you don't have?

Lover in the Ice - 1:27:00 Aaron Vs NPC named Skip (Codename "Zookeeper") ending with Aaron just saying "UNLODE", refering to his gun around the 1:29:00 mark.  It may need a little editing to cut out table banter.

Lover in the Ice-
4:43:00-4:45:51
The Price of Public Exposure

I think this really nails the whole "you're operatives in an illegal conspiracy" theme.

Quick thoughts.

Ross if you are looking for comments on specific sections of a track in future have you considered uploading to Soundcloud or Youtube for ease of commenting? No idea of complications/time.

For example Soundcloud allows users to do the following : https://soundcloud.com/deadmau5isawesome/deadmau5-ghosts-n-stuff-1

Review Cultist, I agree with all of your picks.  Nice job at producing them so quickly!

Other things I was looking for

I know there is a podcast where Adam Scott Clancy discusses the origin of Delta Green, and I think it would be valuable to include it a Delta Green kickstarter.  He says (paraphrasing) "Delta Green is the answer to running a Call of Cthulhu campaign where the Keeper is tired of having a relative of the players die horribly to get the party to investigate the Mythos."   I don't recall which podcast this was in.

Also I recall Caleb running The Last Equation and there are several very good pieces of audio from that podcast but I can't seem to find it on the RPPR site.  Am I misremembering something?
