I hope everytime we make this joke that guy gets a ringing sound in his ears and doesn't know why.

Is there a reason why all of Arje's characters are arrogant bastards?

Peer pressure.

Because they're awesome to listen to?

But seriously, there are a LOT of arrogant bastard characters in the NWC games, let alone in the entire breadth of the RPPRverse.

Gregor, Locke, Arje's original NWC dude (can't remember the name), Watcher - plus all the damn NPCs that fit the bill.

And I'd argue that Arje's priest in the Candle Cove game isn't an arrogant bastard. Arrogant to an extent but hardly bastard material.

It's a RPPR requirement that at least one player make and play an arrogant bastard character in any game. This is typically decided on an extremely complicated set of dice rolls that each player makes. That player must also make sure that Ross' fridge stays full of Diet Pepsi with Lime.
