Mentioned this in the comments on the AP site, but i'll bring it up here too.

It's pretty funny to me that the RPPR crew can be counted on to always help out the "Kid in Distress", basically no matter what.

Yup. The kid in the Esoterrorists game, the grippli, and Tom's PC in DRYH. It's a soft spot for us.

Don't forget the Templar's son. Or Emily from Candle Cove.

Or the children from Slender Man.
Can we count the kids from the Fear Itself skid row AP?
I wish I was Tom.

Granted, you are now Tom.

Yeap. They were the catalyst for Tom almost getting killed through most of it.

Hey Ross, any way the next AP could get posted before Sunday? I'm flying home Saturday and it'd be awesome to have a new AP to listen to on the plane. (I hate planes. And also flying.) Figured I'd ask.

We're all still trying to atone for Sir Redgar Orphan's Bane.

Why am I not surprised that Matt would be the one to damn us all.

Also, to the earlier question: DRYH is circa May or June '09.

God, what? Do you think Ross is a machine or something? He can't just turn it on.

Oh, and I loved this AP when I listened to it as part of the Ransom six or so months ago *cough*. Not implying anything by that statement.

Seriously, it was cool to hear Bill GM and Ross play. Interesting shift in dynamics, especially with Bill having such command over the material. How much of the scenario was part of the DRYH backstory and how much of it was homebrew?

I wish Bill would come back to the NWC games, I think Ross mentioned he comes back for the last few episodes or so. Also, he should definitely join the Dark Sun campaign.

True story: I'm usually pretty terribad at getting motivated for game prep, so DRYH was largely off the cuff interpretation of the stuff in the book. In the second DRYH AP, I do some liberal stealing from Dark City and Neverwhere. Also, there's a tandem bicycle race IIRC.

My work schedule hates any attempts at a social life.
