As an author (I'm assuming that's what I am), I can write, edit, and publish my own posts.  If you are somewhat unsure of ranks (I'm not sure how familiar you are with Wordpress, so let me know if my attempts at aid are useless), about a third of the way down you can find a summary of the powers here.

However, I can't create categories to organize my post under.  On a side note, I saw Tadanori editing my post, so I'm assuming as an editor that's working out...

EDIT:  I can also delete my own posts, the one I wrote is currently in the trash should you care to look at it (it was kind of useless, simply a test which is why I deleted it).

Yeah, I tested the posting. Got a weird little problem when I tested media additions. I may or may not have brought Skynet online so if your in or near a major population center I'd duck and cover.

Yeah, I only have the option of uploading 10mb total and only 2mb at a time.  I don't know what your intentions are, but that is my situation.

I was just dicking around with the media options, I'm waiting until I'm back at my own PC before I really explore.

Do any of you know how powerpress works? It should be listed as 'Add New Podcast Episode'

use an existing RPPR episode to test it like http://www.slangdesign.com/rppr/RPPR-My-Immortal.mp3

Don't worry about uploading episodes to the site through the wordpress interface - that won't work. I'll have to manually FTP the files.

click the verify button to have it autofill the duration and file size

Man, I wish I knew more about wordpress. My knowledge extends as far as my school's online newspaper.

I don't know what this means, but I was dicking around in wordpress and managed to get this. (I apologize for the size)

I was able to get it to play in the preview mode. I don't know if this is helpful at all. If it's not I'm sorry for wasting your time.

I've only enabled Tad and Mckma to post on the main site - you and judson arent showing in the list of users for the main site.

Tad - how did you register for the community main site?

Ross, I took the link you gave (and presumably any other link to content) and put up the MP3 on a post.  I'm assuming this is what you were getting after?  As far as I can tell it seems to work fine...

EDIT:  On a sidenote, what timezone do you have it set on?  It looked a bit odd to me as it is 8 hours off (from me).  I thought I could get things changed on my end, but it appears not.  Anyway, no big deal, just seems to be set to GMT.

Use the "Register" command in the meta options. It's a default element of a wordpress blog.

Whoo!  Just tested the feed and I can subscribe, and then downloaded the media I linked to.  So it looks like things are "working" in this preliminary state.  If you want a more detailed breakdown or whatever about what's what so far as I've figured, let me know.

I honestly believe that this is a really cool idea. RPPR could become the nexus of all things actual play if this venture is successful.

I've only enabled Tad and Mckma to post on the main site - you and judson arent showing in the list of users for the main site.

Hm. I wonder why.

I'm running a game Friday, so hopefully I'll be able to make a passable recording.  I'd love to get feedback from you all since I'm really interested in improving my DMing.

I'm trying to dig on up. I did a short cut of some of the highlights from a game awhile back, something nice and short. I'll get it off my laptop this evening.
