Imagine this, but instead of being a typical drunk, he's a mythos sorcerer that requires a steady supply of alcohol: http://blogs.smithsonianmag.com/history/2012/02/the-man-who-wouldnt-die/

You guys underestimate the number of great things that show up in my Google Reader each morning. I don't usually have time to even look at the Mefi links.

PETA recently sued SeaWorld using the 13th Amendment as evidence that the orca whales where slaves and should be freed.

The Daily Show covered it a little as well, in the middle section of this episode: http://www.thedailyshow.com/full-episodes/wed-february-15-2012-louise-slaughter

Whatever your opinions about the claim itself, this makes a cool piece of information to use in a campaign set in the future, especially Eclipse Phase, which describes stuff like this has the 1st step in Uplifts.
