Lawful evil requires a level of maturity and consistency that I think most gamers lack. I would play it more, but I'd much rather be LG if I'm going to play a good character and NE (otherwise known as the sociopath) when I'm going to play an evil character.

If you're referring to the Star Wars emperor then really? He had an entire planet devoted to sucking out people's souls. He also genocided aliens and gassed entire planets. He was like Lucas' Hitler with lightning powers.
